Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a Director of Paid Social to lead and evolve the Paid Social division, providing visionary leadership that drives agency-wide growth, innovation, and operational excellence. This role goes beyond day-to-day campaign management to shape the future of Paid Social at Lunar. The Director will mentor and manage the department, foster cross-departmental collaboration, and ensure Paid Social strategies align with client objectives and broader agency goals. This is a hands-on strategic leadership position that balances guiding teams with driving forward-looking initiatives that scale the agency and deliver transformative results for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Director of Paid Social you will be responsible for providing high-quality service to our clients and the following responsibilities.

  • Define and execute the long-term vision for the Paid Social division, ensuring alignment with agency goals and client objectives.

  • Identify opportunities to transform operations, processes, and client offerings to drive scalable growth.

  • Partner with other department leaders on cross-functional initiatives to maximize client and agency impact.

  • Manage and mentor a team, guiding strategy, leadership, and performance management.

  • Build frameworks for leadership development, talent growth, and succession planning.

  • Oversee talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract and retain top performers.

  • Ensure clients achieve transformative results through strategic guidance and proactive problem-solving.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to address client challenges and provide integrated solutions.

  • Lead initiatives to advance measurement, reporting, and performance optimization.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging platforms to maintain Paid Social excellence. Foster alignment, transparency, and knowledge sharing across departments.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth organization and drive transformative results.

  • 8+ years of experience in Paid Social, with a strong record of leading teams and scaling digital marketing operations.

  • At least 3 years management experience.

  • Expertise running campaigns for DTC e-commerce brands is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence agency-wide initiatives.

  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and strategic foresight.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of inspiring teams and presenting to executive-level stakeholders.

  • Passion for mentoring, developing leaders, and fostering a high-performing culture.

  • Strong desire to be challenged, work hard, and grow personally and professionally
