What You’ll Do 

The Northeast Director of Provider Network Operations will serve as the leader of RightMove's unified Northeast Network function. This expansive role will include responsibility for network strategy, growth, practice transformation, network management, and patient growth. The Director of Network and Operations will partner closely with RightMove’s Regional Medical Director and local market operational leadership to execute the local network vision.  

The Day to Day 

  • Own and lead the end-to-end provider strategy for the Northeast market, with full accountability for market performance, growth, and value creation 
  • Act as the primary voice of the market and provider network, translating on-the-ground insights into clear requirements, priorities, and roadmaps for central teams  
  • Design and establish the operating model for a high-performing, scalable provider network, setting the structure, workflows, and expectations required to support growth  
  • Set the strategy and standards for provider contracting and onboarding, ensuring alignment with performance goals while guiding execution through centralized teams 
  • Drive patient growth by defining and activating network-level strategies, influencing supply-demand dynamics, access, and utilization  
  • Own provider engagement, retention, and satisfaction strategy, ensuring the network is aligned, high-performing, and delivering differentiated outcomes  
  • Define, track, and continuously evolve key operational KPIs, and hold cross-functional partners accountable for delivering improvements against these metrics  
  • Serve as the strategic advisor and thought partner to central teams, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency, tooling, and visibility—and driving prioritization of initiatives that unlock value across the network 
  • This role requires approximately 50-75% travel within the Northeast market 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 10+ years of experience in network management, provider relations, and provider contracting
  • Deep knowledge of risk-based provider contracting, current healthcare marketplace dynamics, quality metrics, and population health management 
  • Local understanding of the Northeastern orthopedic provider network  
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field  
  • 6+ years experience managing direct reports 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Proven ability to design and implement complex healthcare initiatives
  • Strong consulting and operations background plus experience building high-performing teams 
  • Track record of successful network expansion and optimization
  • Strong negotiation capabilities and relationship management with provider practices
  • Provider to provider value based contracting

About You 

  • Must reside in the Northeast United States
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfort speaking publicly 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills required, including creativity and resourcefulness. 
  • Ability to analyze technical issues and resolve administrative problems. Ability to exercise use of independent judgement  
  • Ability to lead a large team across several functional areas 
  • Provider contracting experience 
  • Strong written and verbal communicator, particularly with physician leadership 
  • Deep understanding of providers, particularly independent practices 
  • Ability to travel 50-75% within the Northeast market
