Job Description SummaryThis is an exciting role in the Network Infrastructure organization spanning multiple disciplines, providing network connectivity to GE HealthCare employees, services.
As a Director of Network Edge solutions you will lead team of highly talented network professionals who design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable networking infrastructure for GE HealthCare.
The main responsibility of this role is to guarantee that the organization's Network Edge technologies and services are consistently available, secure, high-performing and top-tier. The domain under your leadership currently supports approximately 70,000 users, 1,600 applications and over 300 sites worldwide.

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for network edge technologies and services.

• Collaborate with senior management to align network initiatives with organizational goals.

• Vendor management and financial oversight across your portfolio.

• Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment.

• Possess advanced domain knowledge and shows great customer focus.

• Drive design reviews and applies existing technology to designs.

• Demonstrated expertise in cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure.

• ·      Lead and mentor a team of network professionals and architects.

• Ensure network designs and implementations comply with GE HealthCare standards and security policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technology related field

• 8+ years of IT experience

• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills

• Extensive experience in leading infrastructure teams, with a specialized focus on network edge technologies.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives.

• Demonstrated strong analytical and strong problem solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $160,000.00-$240,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.

Additional Information
