The Director of Marketing serves as a primary stakeholder in the marketing strategy and go-to-market execution for North America’s Forest & Garden Division. He/she works closely with creative services, marketing technology, sales and product management to drive product commercialization across the professional and residential portfolio. This role serves as a champion of the consumer, incorporating insights and analytics into content strategies that build brand equity and support long-term growth initiatives. He/She will oversee a team of marketers across different disciplines, including product/brand marketing, PR and channel marketing.

What You Need to Know:

• Maintain in-depth understanding of the consumer, category, competition and trends, turning insights into opportunities for increased brand position.

• Leader in go-to-market strategy, managing deliverables and timelines to drive executional excellence across channels

• Develop integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels—including digital, social, PR, tradeshows and partnerships

• Experience leading external and internal stakeholders on the following:

  • Project/Creative Briefing
  • Content Development
  • Product Claims & Packaging
  • Consumer Research
  • Photo/video shoots

• Responsible for supporting the sales team ensuring needs of each channel are captured in go-to market strategy (i.e. social, POP, ecomm content)

• Serve as a connector between Husqvarna Group and North America, representing the voice of the NA business and customer for our global product and marketing teams  

• Oversee PR efforts, including influencer and affiliate programs, brand partnerships and relevant consumer/industry opportunities

• Collaborate with digital media team on paid advertising strategy for new and existing products to align with business priorities

• Partner with eCommerce team to plan and develop SEO-friendly brand communications, ensuring brand consistency, clarity and quality of all marketing communications

• Manage and report on respective piece of the marketing budget, ensuring program investments align with strategic goals

What We Are Looking For:

• BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related field

• 10+ years marketing experience with minimum 5 years of people management

• Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing preferred

• Detail oriented and organized for effective project management within a complex business

• Experience in creative development, directing photoshoots, ad agencies and events
• Invested in coaching and development, inspiring a team of creative and analytical thinkers
• Enjoys working cross-functionally and is comfortable navigating a fast-paced, changing environment  

• Experience developing strategic plans and presenting to senior leadership

• Willingness to Travel (Travel is less than 20%)
