What you'll be doing:
Work directly with WEKA's VP, Strategic Marketing, shaping and executing high-impact strategies in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You’ll be at the heart of Weka’s marketing evolution, breaking down silos, streamlining operations, and driving key initiatives across the company. The Director, Marketing Operations and Analytics is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of a marketing function, leveraging data analysis to drive strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a strategic, execution-oriented leader with experience in fast-paced, data-driven environments who thrives on tackling complex challenges and has an analytical mindset. You’ll leverage your skills in process optimization, data analytics/insights and cross-functional collaboration to ensure measurable outcomes on key marketing initiatives.
As a Director, Marketing Operations and Analytics, you'll:
- Data Analytics & Insights - Work alongside the Marketing Leadership to define, prioritize, and drive predictive marketing analytics and insights across the org. This includes setting clear objectives, establishing the right KPIs, and ensuring a standard scorecard for marketing’s performance.
- Cross-Functional Alignment and Process Optimization - Act as the central coordination point across marketing and other departments, improving communication and ensuring that all teams are using data in their program development. Develop streamlined processes to enhance operational agility without adding unnecessary complexity.
- Marketing Operations & Governance - Drive data strategy and governance to ensure high-quality, accurate marketing data for segmentation, targeting and decision making. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry best practices in marketing data handling and system usage.
- Performance Tracking - Oversee and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met and on-budget delivery. Regularly report on progress, highlighting successes and proactively addressing obstacles.
- Communication and Problem-Solving - Act as an operational liaison, facilitating information flow between the Marketing Leadership team and internal teams. Proactively address bottlenecks and resolve issues impacting projects or deliverables, providing clear, data-driven recommendations when needed.
- Management and Support - Manage and oversee Marketing Operations team and support campaign execution and process improvements. This includes MarTech and general marketing support.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- 6-8 years in strategic project management, operations, or executive support, with a background in management consulting or high-growth environments as a plus.
- Strong ability to support long-term planning and make data-informed decisions.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from start to finish.
- Experience with Marketo, including campaign creation, management, optimization, as well as integrating it with CRM systems and other marketing technologies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools in Looker, Tableau or other data visualization tools to help communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with proven capability to align cross-functional teams.
- Proactive in addressing challenges and adept at adjusting to evolving priorities.
- Results-oriented, curious, and thrives in fast-paced settings with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in change management and organizational transformation
