About the Job 

As a Sr. Director/ Vice President of Marketing at Doodle Labs, you’ll be responsible for defining and executing the company’s global marketing strategy with a strong focus on brand leadership, product marketing, and demand generation. 

This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategic vision with operational excellence. You’ll build and lead a world-class marketing organization that strengthens our brand presence, accelerates pipeline growth, and drives measurable revenue impact across our key markets in Defense Tech, Robotics, and Advanced Wireless Communications. 

You will report directly to the CEO and work out of our Marina Del Rey, California office. 

What You Will Be Doing 

Marketing Strategy & Leadership 

  • Define and lead an integrated marketing strategy aligned with company growth goals and product roadmap. 
  • Build a scalable marketing organization that balances near-term demand generation with long-term brand building. 
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Business Development to align go-to-market strategy and execution. 

Brand & Market Positioning 

  • Elevate Doodle Labs’ brand as the leader in secure wireless communications for mission-critical robotics and defense applications. 
  • Drive consistent messaging and storytelling across digital, product, events, and PR channels. 
  • Lead external communications and represent Doodle Labs at key industry conferences and media opportunities. 

Demand Generation & Sales Enablement 

  • Architect a data-driven demand generation engine that fuels pipeline growth and revenue performance. 
  • Build high-impact marketing programs that target key verticals and enterprise accounts. 
  • Partner with Sales leadership to ensure tight alignment on pipeline creation, account-based marketing, and enablement tools. 

Product & Partner Marketing 

  • Lead go-to-market strategy for new product releases and emerging technologies. 
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate customer insights into positioning and messaging. 
  • Develop joint marketing programs with key ecosystem and channel partners to expand market reach. 

Team Development & Culture 

  • Grow and mentor a high-performing marketing team that values creativity, accountability, and collaboration. 
  • Establish processes and tools that scale as the company grows. 
  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence across the organization. 

Performance & Analytics 

  • Define KPIs and OKRs that measure marketing’s impact on pipeline, revenue, and brand awareness. 
  • Continuously analyze performance data to inform investment decisions and optimize ROI. 

What We Need to See 

  • 10–15 years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. 
  • Proven success scaling B2B marketing in a growth-stage or mid-size technology company. 
  • Background in Defense Tech, Drones, Robotics, Wireless Communications, or adjacent industries. 
  • Deep expertise in product marketing, demand generation, and revenue-aligned marketing programs. 
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify and evangelize complex technology. 
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience leading data-driven marketing strategies. 
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling organization. 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience working with government or defense procurement processes. 
  • Prior leadership experience in high-growth or venture-backed technology environments. 
  • Familiarity with account-based marketing and enterprise go-to-market strategies.
