The Director of A Brands Sourcing leads a strategic sourcing team that drives cross-brand negotiations and delivers data-driven insights to enable category management across a multi-banner retail organization. This role serves as a critical bridge between retail brands, ensuring collaboration, alignment, and optimized outcomes that benefit the entire ADUSA portfolio. The Director authors and maintains the twice-yearly negotiation schedule, driving timelines forward while proactively resolving issues that may impact process, savings, or execution. Drives timeline and actively resolves issues to timeline, process, and impacts to savings. Drives cross brand outcomes for Center Store Category Management. Drives the strategy and process for cross brand negotiations and assortment review processes. Manages the data fact packs for negotiations and executive business meetings with CPGs and manages the period reporting on CPG performance. Manages the delivery of Save for Our Customer (S4OC) savings for Center Store.

Essential job functions:
- Provide tools, templates, and training to facilitate Ways of Working.
- Provide updates and actively advise/influence VP, Sourcing COE,, ADUSA Support Depts, Category Leadership and Teams (Brands).
- Manages S4OC delivery for center store category management.
- Initiate and guide process for escalation.
- Ensure integrity of integrated business planning process to maximize size and scale of ADUSA for National Brands.
- Accountable for identifying opportunities and supporting execution of opportunities to drive cross brand scale.
- Primary interfaces will be CM+1s/CM+2s.
- Responsible for facilitating commercial plan development, category planning and negotiations, and preparing executive-level materials for top-to-top meetings, FMI, CGF, and other key industry engagements.
- Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment
- Bachelor's degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of category management or sourcing experience within a retail environment.
- Demonstrated success managing teams and influencing cross-functional initiatives to deliver results across a multi-brand retail organization.
- Proven expertise in managing complex supplier negotiations, consistently delivering strategic and financial results.
- Expertise in syndicated data plaforms (Nielsen, Circana)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to senior executives and external partners.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a proven ability to build alignment and consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Deep understanding of retail category management principles, processes, and best practices
