About this Role:
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Director, HCP GTM Strategy to lead the commercialization of GoodRx’s healthcare professional (HCP) audience. In this role, you will apply broad expertise across life sciences, digital health, and go-to-market disciplines to scale and monetize our HCP platform.
This is a high-visibility role requiring advanced conceptual thinking and independent judgment to address complex, evolving market needs. Your leadership will be critical in influencing internal direction, refining offerings in partnership with Product and Analytics, and guiding commercialization through collaboration with Sales, Client Success, and Marketing.
Your Impact:As the internal subject matter expert (SME) for GoodRx’s HCP solutions, you will lead strategy and execution that unlocks the full commercial potential of our HCP audience capabilities. You’ll play a pivotal role in defining our market opportunity, evolving our product positioning, and aligning teams around shared goals for revenue and customer impact. You will guide cross-functional initiatives that influence broader organizational strategy, shape business principles, and directly contribute to functional success.
Your ability to evaluate ambiguous data, navigate complex decisions, and influence diverse stakeholders will be key to driving forward GoodRx’s strategic growth of our HCP platform and revenue.
What You’ll Do:Lead the monetization and scalable growth of our HCP audience offerings across life sciences and healthcare clients, developing creative commercialization strategies and go-to-market models
Serve as a strategic SME for HCP engagement internally, providing guidance to Sales, Client Success, and Marketing on positioning, messaging, and customer needs
Develop and refine our HCP commercialization strategy, including pricing, packaging, and value propositions that align with the needs of pharmaceutical brands and health systems
Collaborate closely with Product and Analytics teams to evolve offerings based on market dynamics, performance data, and client feedback, applying independent judgment to drive product-market fit
Participate in client pitches and strategic engagements, helping to shape solutions and demonstrate the business impact of our HCP platform
Partner with Sales Enablement and Marketing to develop compelling positioning and thought leadership materials that support internal alignment and external growth
Stay current on HCP digital engagement trends, omnichannel marketing strategies, and the evolving needs of pharma marketers, translating insights into strategic action
Lead cross-functional initiatives with an enterprise-wide perspective, leveraging formal networks and fostering collaboration across multiple business units
Evaluate strategic opportunities using conceptual thinking and data-driven insights, often in ambiguous or novel problem spaces
May direct the efforts of others and serve as a mentor or team leader across functional workstreams
A strategic operator with deep experience commercializing and scaling HCP engagement platforms, digital health solutions, or life sciences offerings
Adept at working across highly specialized fields and related disciplines, connecting business objectives with tactical execution
Comfortable navigating complex and unique market challenges, using data, insight, and creativity to deliver innovative solutions
A collaborative leader who builds formal cross-functional networks and drives alignment across product, commercial, and marketing functions
An excellent communicator capable of translating advanced information into clear, persuasive messages for diverse audiences, including senior executives and external partners
Passionate about transforming healthcare through innovation and improving HCP access and engagement at scale
Recognized internally as a subject matter expert, known for shaping vision and delivering impact across functional boundaries
Skills and Qualifications:
Requires 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree.
Proven track record of monetizing and scaling HCP platforms, products, or programs
Deep understanding of HCP marketing, engagement strategies, and pharmaceutical brand needs
Demonstrated ability to partner with Product and cross-functional teams to create, refine, and launch market-fit solutions
Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with experience influencing both internal stakeholders and clients
Familiarity with key HCP engagement metrics and measurement frameworks
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MPH, or other advanced degree preferred
