Compassion International is looking for a seasoned professional to direct our growth marketing efforts, including the brand awareness of Demand Generation, the conversion focus of Performance Marketing, and the analysis that ties it all together.
As Director of Growth Marketing you will lead our marketing engine through innovative, data-driven strategies. You will own the strategy and execution of growth marketing programs across demand generation, content, and digital campaigns. You’ll bring creativity and analytical expertise to help us scale efficiently and effectively. And you will do this by leading a high-performing team of 14 and working cross-functionally to expand reach, drive prospect engagement, produce qualified leads, and ultimately increase the number of supporters serving children living in poverty. This is a unique opportunity to lead growth marketing at a mission-driven non-profit, blending the performance focus of growth marketing, with the blessing of serving children in Jesus’ name.
What will you do?
Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintaining a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully uphold Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.

Lead a sustained Growth Marketing Program:
Design and refine a multi-channel demand creation and capture strategy, incorporating SEO, SEM, paid media, web and lead journeys, while ensuring continuous optimization and measurable outcomes
Lead the development of paid performance marketing strategies to drive awareness, lead acquisition, and conversion.
Identify root causes of program performance issues and drive action plans for continual improvement
Nurture a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and resilience
Identify and clear blockers, communicating changes in priority or focus in a timely manner
Implement processes to improve team efficiency and streamline operations, driving greater effectiveness in campaign execution
Leverage analysis and systems thinking to scale performance:
Oversee the execution and optimization of campaigns within various ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and others).
Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and implement data-driven improvements to maximize ROI.
Leverage analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns across all channels.
Provide regular reporting on campaign performance, website traffic, and lead generation metrics.
Identify areas for improvement and implement testing strategies (e.g., A/B testing) to enhance results.
Provide regular and continuous feedback concerning performance and apply appropriate performance interventions when needed
Balancing operational execution with strategic foresight will be essential to laying the foundation for scalable, predictable, and impactful growth
Collaborate across functions to drive program success:
Collaborate with creative and web development teams to ensure seamless integration of campaign content
Collaborate with subject matter experts, partners, and other marketing team members to ensure the effectiveness of our growth marketing program
Communicate effectively on a regularly scheduled cadence to ensure stakeholder alignment and clear achievement of KPI targets
Manage the social strategy and execution across platforms, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals

10+ years executing growth marketing, demand gen and performance marketing strategies with proven results.
Strong systems thinker with a bias for action, results and experimentation.
Exceptional communicator with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
Proven ability to lead leaders and inspire teams toward common goals.
Strong HCD instincts paired with a data-driven mindset to encourage creativity in improving performance metrics
Passion for developing and scaling multi-channel content strategies across owned and earned platforms
Deep knowledge of SEO best practices, content workflows, and CMS platforms
Experience leading analytics teams to define KPIs, build dashboards, and uncover actionable insights that drive programmatic decisions
Highly organized and accountable; keenly focused on planning, evaluating, executing, and measuring program performance
