We are looking for a Director, Global Partner Program Design & Scale to join our Channel and Alliances team. Reporting to the global head of Partner Programs, you will lead the design, development, launch, and scaling of Zscaler's priority partner programs and go-to-market initiatives. Working with global program and route-to-market owners, you will turn strategic priorities into complete, repeatable programs and lead a regional program team to drive activation, adoption, and continuous improvement worldwide
What you'll do (Role Expectations)
- Lead Partner Program Design & Development: Translate growth opportunities and field needs into partner programs, offers, and repeatable sales plays. Own a focused portfolio from business case and design through pilot and launch, with clear outcomes, investment requirements, accountable owners, and decision gates.
- Evolve Program Architecture & Partner Experience: Work with global program and route-to-market owners to develop reusable frameworks for partner participation, benefits, commercial models, capabilities, and lifecycle journeys. Align common standards with route-specific needs and clearly defined policy, process, and ownership boundaries.
- Orchestrate End-to-End Launch Readiness: Align Product, Pricing, Finance, Legal, Sales, Marketing, Partner Engineering, Services, Enablement, and Operations around complete launch packages. Resolve design tradeoffs and dependencies across offers, economics, systems, reporting, communications, and enablement, while functional owners retain accountability for their deliverables and approvals.
- Lead Regional Activation & Scale: Build, manage, and develop the Regional Partner Programs team across Americas, EMEA, and APJ. Set priorities, launch standards, and adoption targets; coach regional leaders to localize approved programs, mobilize theater stakeholders, inspect execution, and escalate systemic blockers.
- Measure, Improve & Transition Programs: Measure launch speed, adoption, partner readiness, field productivity, partner experience, and business contribution. Use pilot results and regional feedback to refine designs, reduce manual work and recurring exceptions, and transition proven programs to named steady-state owners with clear documentation and governance
- You thrive in ambiguity: You're comfortable building the path as you walk it. You thrive in a dynamic environment, seeing ambiguity not as a hindrance, but as the raw material to build something meaningful.
- You act like an owner: Your passion for the mission fuels your bias for action
- You operate with integrity because you genuinely care about the outcome. True ownership involves leveraging dynamic range: the ability to navigate seamlessly between high-level global strategy and getting into the detailed, hands-on execution of program playbooks
- You are a problem-solver: You love running towards challenges because you are laser-focused on finding the solution, knowing that solving the hard, complex program trade-offs and economics delivers the biggest global impact.
- You are a high-trust collaborator: You are ambitious for the team, not just yourself
- You embrace our challenge culture by giving and receiving ongoing feedback—knowing that candor delivered with clarity and respect is the truest form of teamwork and the fastest way to earn trust across global functions.
- You are a learner: You have a true growth mindset and are obsessed with your own development, actively seeking regional and partner feedback to continuously optimize our scaling frameworks and become a stronger teammate
- 12+ years of experience in partner programs, partner ecosystems, go-to-market strategy, commercial strategy, business transformation, or a related operating role.
- Proven success designing, launching, and scaling complex partner programs across multiple regions, with measurable adoption and business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of multiple partner routes to market, such as reseller, distribution, MSSP, GSI, services, cloud, marketplace, or technology alliances, including partner economics and commercial models.
- Experience leading and developing teams while managing a portfolio of cross-functional programs, competing priorities, resource tradeoffs, and regional execution.
- Strong commercial judgment and executive communication, with the ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into practical program designs and drive decisions across functions without direct authority
- Experience in cybersecurity, enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, or another complex global B2B technology environment.
- Demonstrated depth in global partner program architecture, partner experience and capability design, pricing and packaging, or partner-led services.
- A hands-on record of building reusable playbooks and scalable processes, using automation, performance data, and field feedback to reduce friction and sustain adoption after launch.
