What the Director, Global FP&A does at Worldwide
The Director, Global FP&A takes a lead role in company financial planning, reporting and analysis activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks across the enterprise. The Director will develop financial strategies and provide decision-making support to executive leadership to contribute to the achievement of company financial and business objectives.
What you will do
- Work closely with Finance leadership to produce high quality reporting and analysis to provide financial insight and drive decisions across the organization.
- Develop budgets, strategic plans, and financial strategies to support the organizations business objectives and provide cross-functional financial decision support to executive leadership.
- Direct core financial processes across the organization, including the Annual Operating Plan, Strategic Plans, and Monthly Forecasting
- Lead complex analysis projects; evaluate findings and provide recommendations to senior leadership about the financial implications
- Ensure financial reporting and analysis accuracy for financial audits and reviews of company performance
- Partner with Financial Systems and Accounting teams to drive reporting accuracy and integrity, and ensure infrastructure is in place to meet the needs of all business partners
What you will bring to the role
- Presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively delegate and manage competing priorities
- Proven skill in financial modeling and valuation analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Desire to drive operational improvements, with confidence to challenge the status quo (intellectual curiosity)
Your experience
- BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 12+ years of finance and accounting experience and 5+ years of supervisory responsibility
- Experience within a CRO or pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
- Strong financial accounting knowledge and the use of accounting systems
- Prior experience working within a leveraged, PE owned organization is preferred
- Demonstrated experience of implementing change initiatives within a growing organization
- Strong leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills
