Role Overview

Dandy is transforming the dental industry through cutting-edge technology and digital manufacturing solutions. With ambitious plans to reach $2B in revenue and service multiple international markets by 2027, we're rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint – and this role is critical to that success.

We're seeking a Director of Global Facilities to lead all aspects of our physical infrastructure; from real estate strategy and site selection to construction, expansion, and ongoing facility operations. This role is responsible for overseeing capital improvements, managing day-to-day facilities services, and driving forward infrastructure that enables our rapid growth. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in real estate and facilities management within a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. This person thrives in ambiguous cross-functional settings, is data-driven, and can scale systems and facilities in line with our ambitious expansion objectives.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the physical environment of a company at the forefront of dental technology and digital manufacturing. As the Director of Global Facilities, you will have a critical seat at the table, enabling Dandy's next phase of scale and innovation across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Site Strategy & Portfolio Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global site strategy to support Dandy's $2B revenue goal, including site selection, lease negotiation, and optimization of facility layouts.

  • Create robust business cases for major real estate decisions and maintain a global database of assets, terms, and operational KPIs.

Capital Projects & Construction Management

  • Lead all aspects of construction projects from planning to commissioning, managing vendor procurement, budgets, and timelines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure improvements that support operational efficiency and scalability.

Facilities Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee daily facility operations across global locations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements including OSHA, ADA, and ISO standards.

  • Develop preventative maintenance programs and emergency protocols, while monitoring performance metrics to identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.

Strategic Leadership & Financial Management

  • Own the global real estate and facilities budget, identifying opportunities for optimization including tax credits and energy efficiency.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team while serving as the key point of accountability for all facility decisions to executive stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of global facilities and real estate experience in manufacturing or R&D environments, with proven team leadership and budget ownership.

  • Deep expertise in facility planning, construction management, lease administration, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Strong business and analytical acumen with excellent project management, negotiation, and executive communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to scale physical infrastructure in high-growth environments while maintaining operational excellence.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related field

  • Experience with medical device manufacturing, international facility certifications, and regulatory compliance

Compensation Range: $157K - $197K
