How you will create an impact

The Director GI International Quality Engineering & Assurance is critical to the success of the Delivery Quality & Engineering organization. This role in addition to overall delivery management capabilities is required to have a deep understanding of Quality Assurance and Engineering (QA&E) practices and principles, solutions, frameworks and continuous testing capabilities to lead the specific capabilities of the DQ&E Organization globally.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and scale a high-performing global QA team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Define and execute QA strategy including automation, performance testing, security testing and implement standardized QA testing , standards and policies. Drive adoption of test automation frameworks and champion quality-first development principles.
  • Support key programs such as SCUP, Claims, Japan Transformation, myAIG etc.
  • Working knowledge of US Property and Casualty lines of business including product features, forms, regulatory environments and risks etc.
  • Good understanding of different lines of business within Insurance like Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle while adopting CI/CD best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to align testing practices with business and technology goals.
  • Manage complex large-scale programs consisting of multiple geographically separate scrum teams supporting automation, regression, feature test and system test.
  • Monitor and report on quality metrics and KPIs, using data to drive decision-making and improvements.
  • Subject matter expertise on US Property and Casualty lines of business (like Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational), forms, regulatory environments and risks would be preferred.
  • Business stakeholder management
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve Quality Engineering practices and tools. Lead and execute GenAI enabled Quality Transformation and streamline operations.
  • Work closely with compliance, audit and engineering teams to adhere to the established process and standards.
What you'll need to succeed
  • 12+ years of experience in Information Technology with at least 8+ years in Quality Engineering and Assurance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science; Master's Degree in Business Administration highly preferred.
  • Great attention to detail and strategic thinking with flexibility to oversee simultaneous programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of DQ&E tool sets such as the Rally, ALM, Jenkins, Selenium, Java, Git, Familiarity in continuous integration/Continuous Delivery DevOps tools, Jenkins, Stash, GIT, Eclipse IDE, and JIRA. BDD, Cucumber and knowledge on data testing. 
  • Deep understanding of the full Software Development life-cycle, having grown up practicing these competencies in a large global and complex organization.
  • Must have strong presentation skills and expertise in developing PowerPoint presentations, financial models, balance sheets, organization performance dashboards and chargeback models.
  • Must be a strong contributor to Solution Architecture (Test Solutions), DevOps (Continuous Testing), and Configuration Management, Digital, Application Testing (Non-Functional), Agile Certified / Scrum Planning, Architecture & Frameworks (Testing), Business Case Development and Program and project management area.
  • Possess excellent influencing skills, demonstrated experience navigating large organizations.
  • Possess exemplary commend on Systems Development Life-cycle Management, Quality, Management, Mentoring directs, Resource Management, Risk Management, Vendor and Contract Management and QE&A Standards and Governance.
