You are an experienced and results-driven Director, FP&A, with a strong background in forecasting, modeling, and long-range planning. With significant expertise in building and improving financial models, you have a track record of providing strategic insights and driving executive decision-making.
About The Role:
We are a high-growth IT professional services company with $400M+ in annual revenue, scaling 25–30% year-over-year. As we continue to expand, we are creating a new Director, FP&A role to enhance our financial forecasting and long-range planning capabilities. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for leading the build-out of our financial models, supporting M&A activities, and providing strategic insights to leadership and key business functions. This role offers a chance to have a direct impact on the company’s growth, with the potential to evolve into broader leadership responsibilities over time.
Other responsibilities include:
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and 5-year strategic planning
- Deliver accurate rolling forecasts and scenario planning to support executive decision-making
- Serve as a financial thought partner to Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Data teams
- Conduct M&A financial modeling and diligence, support post-acquisition integration, and assist with board/investor-facing materials
- Create dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI to track KPIs and surface insights
- Lead preparation of monthly and quarterly financial packages and executive presentations
- Help establish the foundation for a scalable FP&A function, including process and workflow design
- Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies to the requirements section
- Identify and escalate security risks to the appropriate Executive Leadership Team member and actively contribute to remediation efforts
- Other duties as assigned
Desired skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in building and scaling FP&A functions from the ground up
- Minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role at the Director level within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Proven expertise in supporting M&A transactions, including modeling, diligence, and integration
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present to executives
- Experience within professional services is a plus, with a strong ability to work independently and earn trust

Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $170,000- $180,000, plus opportunities for bonus and/or commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
