 Position Summary: 

The Director of Finance is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities to support strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, ensure fiscal discipline, and provide actionable insights across the organization. This position ensures legal and regulatory compliance with all accounting and financial reporting functions. The Director of Finance also oversees all customer pricing, cost and general accounting, accounts receivable/collection, payroll customer and vendor contracts and risk management.   

 
Responsibilities: 

 

  • Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A) including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. 
  • Manages budget and controls expenses effectively. 
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with insights and variance analysis 
  • Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls. 
  • Maximize return and limits risk on cash by effectively forecasting cashflow. 
  • Partner with business leaders to drive data-driven decision-making and profitability improvements  
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and pricing  
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify risks/opportunities  
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls  
  • Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors  
  • Improve financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency  
  • Manage team effectively. Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Consults with Human Resources as appropriate. 

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred)  
  • 7-10+ years of progressive finance experience  
  • Proven experience in strategic finance, FP&A, budgeting, and financial modeling  
  • Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills 
  • Advanced excel and financial systems proficiency (ERP, BI Tools) 
  • Strong background experience in CPG, Manufacturing, ecommerce preferred 
  • SAP S4 Hana Experience, ideally but not required 
  • Experience working with executive leadership

  • Operateoffice equipment including computers, copiers, and printers.
  • Occasionally exposed to weather elements.
