The Director Finance, Financial Control & Data Analytics leads sophisticated financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities to identify risks and opportunities across the enterprise.
Reporting to the Senior Director, you will develop financial strategies to provide strategic direction and decision-making support to executive leadership to contribute to the achievement of company financial and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the preparation and monitoring of company and department- wide forecasts, budgets, and financial results.
- Develop budgets and financial strategies that support the organization's business objectives and provide cross-functional financial decision support to executive leadership.
- Oversee process alignment and consistency in the application of budgeting and forecasting processes and policies across all functions.
- Ensure financial reporting and analysis support for financial audits and reviews of company performance.
- Manage staff, which may include interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counseling, and separations. Approves courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Reviews and approves time records, expense reports, requests for leave, and overtime.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Previous Finance experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 10+ years).
- 5+ years of management responsibility
- In some cases an equivalency, consisting of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent consultancy skills with ability to function as an effective and trusted partner to internal clients at all levels of the organization.
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Broad and in-depth knowledge of accounting/financial principles and best practices with sophisticated analytical and quantitative skills
- Expert business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments.
- Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data
- Proven skill to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated intuition to effectively delegate and balance work and deliver against competing demands.
- Proven skill in financial modeling and valuation analysis
- In-depth knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and necessary documentation related to Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
Management Role:
Directs through lower management levels. Has responsibility for managing a function that includes multiple related departments. In some instances, may be responsible for a functional area (as determined by executive management) and not have subordinate supervisors or employees. May manage employees across multiple regions.

This is a salaried role that will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Compensation will be initially discussed during the screening period, with actual compensation confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
