Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for acquiring and expanding high-value enterprise customers, owning complex sales cycles, and serving as a trusted advisor to executive and technical stakeholders.

This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role focused on closing large, strategic opportunities within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive new logo acquisition and expansion within assigned enterprise accounts in the NYC and broader Northeast region.
  • Lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles involving technical, economic, and executive buyers.
  • Develop deep expertise in Aerospike’s platform and effectively articulate its differentiated value in real-time, mission-critical environments.
  • Navigate sophisticated procurement processes and negotiate large 6- and 7-figure enterprise agreements.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans to drive predictable pipeline generation and revenue growth.
  • Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Alliances, Marketing, and Account Development to deliver coordinated account strategies.
  • Apply disciplined qualification and forecasting methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, value-based selling) to ensure accuracy and deal integrity.
  • Represent Aerospike at executive briefings, industry events, and customer engagements across the region.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience, a broad network with a strong track record selling database, infrastructure, or developer-focused technologies.
  • Experience selling modern distributed databases or comparable technologies (e.g., Cassandra, Couchbase, CockroachDB, Yugabyte, ScyllaDB, HBase, MongoDB, MarkLogic, etc.).
  • Experience selling into financial services, fintech, adtech, media, retail, or other high-throughput industries.
  • Demonstrated success closing complex 6- and 7-figure enterprise deals.
  • Proven ability to navigate technical buying centers, including engineering, architecture, and DevOps stakeholders.
  • Consistent history of exceeding quota in high-growth, competitive markets.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to articulate business value and ROI for complex enterprise platforms.
  • Experience leveraging structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC and value-based selling frameworks.
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to AI/ML, real-time analytics, or mission-critical data platforms.
  • US Federal Government sales experience.
  • Willingness to be in Manhattan 30-50% of the time.
What We Value
  • A self-starter with a strong ownership mentality and drive to win.
  • Calm, confident leadership presence in high-pressure, complex deal environments.
  • Ability to create clarity and structure in ambiguous situations.
  • High integrity, resilience, and grit.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a fast-growing, matrixed organization.

If you’re energized by selling cutting-edge real-time data technology, thrive in complex enterprise environments, and want to help power the next generation of AI-driven applications, we’d love to connect.
