Job Description:

Primary Objectives

·         NPD / NPI Introduction
Lead Process Development (PD) for all NV products, embedding manufacturability requirements into New Product Development (NPD) and ensuring seamless transfer of efficient processes to manufacturing (NPI), while meeting defined product performance criteria.

·         Product Lifecycle Management
Drive engineering innovation and process enhancements across internal and external manufacturing sites. Sustain NV core products by reducing costs, improving operational efficiency, and preserving component design integrity.

·         Process Engineering
Oversee internal manufacturing engineering teams to continuously improve processes, enhancing compliance, service levels, and cost-effectiveness.

·         Strategic Supply Chain Projects
Manage global initiatives to deliver targeted outcomes on time and within budget, aligning with broader supply chain strategy.

·         Team Development
Mentor and grow technical and project management talent within the Neurovascular supply chain, fostering leadership and capability development.

·         Budget Ownership
Develop and manage the global engineering budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial stewardship

Other Duties:

·         Strategic Engagement:
Participate actively in the NV Supply Chain Leadership Team, offering insights and helping shape the strategic vision and direction.

·         Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Navigate and coordinate within a highly matrixed organization, fostering effective communication and alignment across multiple functions.

·         R&D Partnership:
Collaborate closely with R&D to translate product design specifications into executable projects, ensuring quality standards are consistently exceeded.

·         Project Execution Excellence:
Leverage cross-departmental resources to implement projects efficiently, adhering to project management best practices and timelines.

·         Team Development:
Champion the continuous growth and development of the engineering team, building capabilities to meet evolving business needs

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and effectiveness.

  • Project Management Expertise: Extensive experience in executing complex projects across multiple departments and functions.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to assess future needs and develop a comprehensive talent, technical, and business strategy.

  • Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Preferred Minimum Education: BE in Industrial / Mechanical / or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent engineering/technical discipline    Other: MBA Preferred

Preferred Area of Study:

Higher education (MS or MBA), APICS, ASQ certifications, Six Sigma, LEAN Mfg, PMP,

Preferred Related Industry Experience (if applicable):

   10+ Yrs Medical device supply chain, Manufacturing, Quality and R&D
