Modivcare is looking for an experienced Director, Talent Management & Employee Experience to join our team. This position is responsible for owning enterprise frameworks for performance management, succession planning, skills-based talent strategy, top talent identification and development, and employee experience. The role prioritizes stakeholder experience and drives measurable business outcomes by converting employee feedback into enterprise-level action plans, strengthening leadership pipelines, accelerating mobility, and equipping Talent Advisors with scalable solutions.
This role…Enterprise Talent Management
Leads performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning processes.
Defines and oversees the enterprise top talent strategy, including identification and development of high-potential talent.
Partners with senior leaders and Talent Advisors to strengthen bench strength for critical roles.
Performance Management
Designs and oversees the enterprise performance management framework.
Establishes clear, aligned goal-setting processes that connect individual and enterprise priorities.
Equips leaders to set measurable goals and hold effective performance conversations.
Skills-Based Talent Strategy
Builds and maintains the enterprise skills framework to identify capability gaps.
Embeds skills into hiring, succession, and mobility strategies.
Partners with workforce planning to align skills data with future business needs.
Employee Experience & Engagement
Leads the employee listening strategy, including pulse, annual, and lifecycle surveys.
Translates insights into enterprise action plans and scalable solutions for Talent Advisors to implement.
Develops recognition and engagement programs that reinforce Modivcare’s culture and values.
Career Development & Mobility
Designs enterprise frameworks that make career pathways transparent.
Oversees the flex-team marketplace to expand mobility and cross-functional learning.
Enables leaders to hold effective career and development conversations.
Measures of Success
Increases internal mobility rates across critical roles.
Higher talent density.
Improved Teammate Net Promoter Score (tNPS).
Strong flex-team engagement as measured by participation and outcomes.
Visible progress in top talent identification and development.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Determines appropriate staffing to achieve goals and objectives.
Builds an effective leadership team through mentoring and formal education.
Defines annual Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals.
Directs and coaches leaders on performance gaps, career development, and all HR-related processes.
Owns team results and recognizes contributions.
Leads change management initiatives and drives improvements and efficiencies.
Prepares and manages budget, analyzes variances, and implements corrective actions to optimize performance.
Interacts collaboratively and communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree required.
Ten (10) plus years of progressive HR or Talent Management experience with enterprise scope.
Five (5) plus years of leadership responsibility.
Proven success leading performance management, succession planning, and top talent strategies.
Workday or equivalent talent technology experience preferred.
Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Strong management, strategist, visionary, and change agent skills.
Excellent influencing and change management skills.
Process improvement experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ability to translate employee feedback into enterprise solutions.
Skilled at integrating multiple talent strategies into a cohesive approach.
Capability in talent analytics and workforce planning.
Salary: $133,300 - $179,900
Bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
