We are looking for a Director of Education, North America to join our growing organization!

Qualifications

General Position


The Education Market Manager is responsible for direct and dealer sales into all education accounts in the US and Canada, and support of direct and dealer sales. The Education Manager interfaces with territory managers and dealers to constantly assess their needs and propose solutions using Core Health & Fitness products and services. The Education Market Manager interfaces with external customers and partners to constantly assess their needs and create and implement solutions to drive revenue and market share. The primary measures of success are in the delivery of planned sales revenue and market share growth in the dedicated sales channel. 

 

 

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities


      • The primary measures of success are in the fulfillment of direct and dealer revenue quota in the Education market.
      • Create and plan annual and strategic business plans for the assigned channel
      • Ownership of key customers in the assigned channel verticals and responsible for revenue plan and achievement of performance targets in revenue and market share.
      • To maintain, educate, and enhance relationship with customers, dealers, and external/internal salespeople in the US & Canada. Customer satisfaction and dealers satisfaction is required.
      • To provide feedback on customer product needs, features, price points, functions to Sales and Product Management.
      • To assist and provide input on marketing strategies and plan for the market.
      • To maintain and renew existing dealer account relationships/
      • Assigned to determine the best possible sales channel be it direct, thru territory management or distributors bases on the market dynamics
      • Support/lead direct and dealer teams in pricing, RFP, bid processes and quoting.
      • Support/Manage education specific national, regional, and local contracts.
      • Assist in order processing, credit/collection process (i.e. ensure that customer orders are processed in a timely fashion and to the customer’s expectations).
      • Work with the technical service department, logistics, sales operations, credit and other essential departments to ensure customer’s expectations are met.
      • Attend customer meetings, trade shows and other industry events to increase business and deepen relationships. 
      • Participate in relevant social media outlets and engage in channel partnerships including speaking engagements and other relevant expertise sharing and gathering positioning the company as an industry expert and leader in the assigned channels.
      • Monitor market trends and competitor activity and contribute towards formulation of Product and Channel strategies to create and maintain differentiation from the competition
      • Execute accurate sales planning and forecasting

      • Manage and maintain margin control.
      • Regular travel within the territory to meet clients, attend industry events, and build relationships in key markets.

Education and Experience Requirements

 

      • Four-year college degree and/or equivalent experience.
      • Excellent computer skills, including a high level of proficiency with MS Office
      • Strong Salesforce/CRM experience
      • Minimum 5 years previous sales experience, fitness background, working with direct/dealer sales teams, or industry experience preferred
      • Prior Trade Show experience preferred
      • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
      • Must maintain a current insurance policy.
