About Foundant

At Foundant, we build mission-critical software for the social good ecosystem — helping foundations, grantmakers, nonprofits, and community organizations streamline their work, strengthen relationships, and maximize their impact. We serve the giving community worldwide with a comprehensive suite of solutions spanning grant management, community foundation software, and giving analytics.

We're a unified company shaped by strong roots across our product portfolio, and we operate with intention and purpose. Our team of ~350 people across six countries is connected by a shared North Star: to be the trusted partner and strategic advisor to the communities we serve.

Where You’ll Work:
  • As a remote-first workplace, we believe in offering flexibility and the freedom to work where it suits you best, while staying connected through technology. Our global network of talent is supported by physical office hubs and virtual collaboration, fostering a dynamic environment where innovation and growth thrive.
  • With office locations in Bozeman, MT, Toronto, Canada, and Dublin, Ireland, you'll be part of a globally connected team. Whether you're working remotely or from one of our office locations, you'll be contributing to a vibrant, collaborative culture focused on driving meaningful impact across the world.

What You’ll Do:

Demand generation strategy & execution

  • Own and execute the demand generation strategy for our government and public sector segment, plus other new segments, building lists, driving MQLs and creating pipeline that consistently meets or exceeds targets
  • Build and run integrated, multi-channel campaigns (email, paid, events, content) tailored to segment buyer behavior and budget cycles
  • Bring an inventive, test-and-learn approach, piloting new channels and tactics rather than relying solely on established playbooks

Account-based marketing

  • Lead ABM strategy and execution for targeted accounts, including account selection, personalization at scale, and close alignment with Sales on account engagement
  • Partner with Sales to define and refine target account lists across assigned segments including local and state government prospects

Cross-functional partnership

  • Work closely with Content, Product Marketing, and Sales to ensure messaging and campaigns resonate with buyer pain points
  • Partner with Events on segment-focused field and virtual events, from conference presence to webinars and roundtable lunch and learns
  • Align with Sales and RevOps on lead scoring, channel metrics, and handoff to ensure marketing-sourced conversions

Metrics & reporting

  • Take a highly metrics-driven approach to pipeline generation, with fluency in attribution, funnel conversion, and pipeline efficiency reporting
  • Report regularly on segment performance against pipeline and revenue targets, adjusting strategy based on results
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:
  • Proven track record leading demand generation through a period of rapid company growth, ideally including experience operating through M&A or platform/product integration
  • History of consistently meeting or exceeding pipeline and revenue targets at a fast-growing B2B SaaS company
  • Strong command of account-based marketing (ABM) strategy and execution
  • Experience marketing B2B SaaS into government buyers, particularly at the local and state level
  • Highly metrics-driven, with fluency in attribution and funnel/pipeline reporting
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building process from the ground up as a segment scales
  • Strong collaborator — experience working closely with Content, Product Marketing, Events, and Sales/RevOps to drive integrated demand generation
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Experience in adjacent regulated or mission-driven verticals (nonprofit, education, public sector tech)
  • Experience with grant management or grantmaking software, or adjacent nonprofit tech
  • Experience in demand generation at a rapidly growing government focused B2B SaaS company
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement processes, budget cycles, and messaging tailored to government stakeholders at the local and state level particularly
  • Relationships within government and public sector networks and associations relevant to grantmaking

What You’ll Bring to our Team Dynamics:

Strategic Thinking

Translates Foundant's North Star into a concrete strategy for scaling into government, public sector, and other emerging segments — building the playbook, list, and pipeline from scratch rather than inheriting an existing one

Performance Advancement

Sets a high bar for pipeline and revenue performance in a brand-new segment, using attribution and funnel data to catch what's working — and what isn't — before quarterly targets are at risk

Decision-Making

Uses evidence and a test-and-learn approach to make fast, well-reasoned calls on new channels and tactics in a segment with no existing playbook to fall back on

Collaboration and Learning

Builds real working relationships across Content, Product Marketing, Events, Sales, and RevOps — because a segment this new only scales if the whole team is pulling in the same direction
