THE OPPORTUNITY:

At Salesloft, our Director, Customer Operations is pivotal to our company’s success.  You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Revenue Operations Team. The Director, Customer Operations will manage a team of business partners and analysts who partner with the Revenue Leadership Team, CRO, and sales & service management to execute on go-to-market initiatives, deliver reporting & insights, and provide strategic support. This will include meeting regularly with sales & services leaders to align on priorities, especially during annual planning, creating and maintaining standard cross-revenue reporting, devising & administering comprehensive Revenue Rules of Engagement, and coaching a team of analysts to deliver both analytics and project management support. 

 

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for managing a team of Business Partners and advising Revenue Leaders on the health of their business and opportunities for growth. Specifically, you will:

  • Partner with Revenue leaders to devise annual Revenue operating plan, including compensation plan design, organizational structure, hiring plan, and role design
  • Lead and strategically develop the RevOps function, encompassing Business Partners and Analysts
  • Drive organizational design and operational excellence across the revenue ecosystem
  • Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies that align with company growth objectives
  • Serve as the strategic advisor to executive leadership on revenue performance, organizational effectiveness, and scalability
  • Design and oversee cross-functional initiatives that optimize revenue generation and operational efficiency

The Skill Set:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or similar strategic business functions
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performance operational teams
  • Advanced analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into strategic business recommendations
  • Expert-level proficiency in developing comprehensive organizational design and change management strategies
  • Demonstrated success in driving strategic initiatives that materially impact company growth and efficiency
  • Executive-level communication and influence skills, with ability to present complex insights to C-suite leadership
  • Deep expertise in sales technology ecosystems, data architecture, and operational best practices

Within 3 Months:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessment of current RevOps function and develop strategic transformation roadmap
  • Build deep relationships with executive leadership across sales, marketing, and customer success
  • Establish new operational frameworks and performance measurement systems

Within 6 Months:

  • Design and begin implementation of organizational optimization strategy
  • Develop predictive analytics capabilities that provide forward-looking revenue insights
  • Create comprehensive talent development plan for RevOps team

Within 12 Months:

  • Have fully transformed RevOps function into a strategic, insight-driven organizational capability
  • Deliver measurable improvements in revenue efficiency, operational scalability, and cross-functional alignment
  • Establish RevOps as a critical strategic partner to executive leadership

It is Salesloft’s intent to pay all Lofters competitive wages and salaries that are motivational, fair and equitable.  The goal of Salesloft’s compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees and encourage employees to stay with our organization.  

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
