We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Corporate Development to support our mergers and acquisitions (M&A) efforts. This role is critical to our growth strategy and will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic acquisition opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development with a proven track record of full-cycle deal execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • M&A Strategy & Scouting
    • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets aligned with strategic priorities.
    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities through industry research, networking, and proactive outreach.
    • Cultivate relationships with target companies, investment banks, and advisors.
  • Deal Evaluation & Modeling
    • Lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, and business case development for potential transactions.
    • Conduct due diligence in collaboration with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations, etc.).
    • Prepare investment memos and presentations for executive leadership and board review.
  • Deal Execution
    • Drive end-to-end deal execution, including negotiations, structuring, and integration planning.
    • Partner with legal and finance teams to manage transaction documentation and closing processes.
    • Support post-merger integration efforts to ensure strategic and financial objectives are met.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or corporate development.
  • Demonstrated experience leading full-cycle M&A transactions.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
