$174,500.00 - $274,230.00

How you will contribute:
- Establish and maintain high-level relationships with assigned payer and PBM customers, serving as the primary point of contact across clinical, pharmacy, and economic decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal partners to develop customer-specific strategies that support formulary access, reduce coverage barriers, and optimize pull-through.
- Serve as a trusted partner to customers by delivering solutions that align with shared goals related to patient outcomes, cost-effectiveness, and innovation.
- Lead internal cross-functional collaboration to execute account strategies, align on key priorities, and ensure coordinated customer engagement.
- Work closely with colleagues in Contracting, Strategy, Analytics, Brand Teams, Medical/HEOR, Strategic Partnerships, and Government Affairs to integrate strategic access objectives across the organization.
- Develop comprehensive, insight-driven business plans for each assigned account, incorporating competitive intelligence, access trends, and product-specific strategies.
- Translate plans into clear objectives and lead the implementation of priority initiatives such as product launches, formulary negotiations, and coverage education.
- Anticipate emerging payer trends and adapt strategies to position Takeda for long-term success in a dynamic access environment.
- Design and execute payer agreements that support access and meet financial and strategic goals, including traditional rebate contracts, innovative access models, and outcomes-based arrangements.
- Partner with Pricing & Contracting, Legal, and Compliance to develop contract terms and ensure full internal alignment through execution.
- Monitor contract performance and support continuous improvement of account-specific agreements.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or related healthcare industry experience required
- At least 3 years of direct experience engaging payer and/or PBM customers, including contract negotiation and account planning required
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. healthcare and payer systems, including formulary processes, cost-containment strategies, and policy trends required
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority required
- Experience with large PBM accounts (e.g., CVS, ESI, OptumRx) or national health plans preferred
- Experience supporting product launches and multi-product portfolios preferred
- Familiarity with value-based agreements and data-driven access solutions are preferred
