What you’ll be doing:The Director of Content at Tinuiti will lead the transformation of our content program into a unified, revenue-driving function, goaled on enterprise pipeline. This role will develop and implement content strategies directly supporting enterprise revenue growth while establishing standardized processes, quality guidelines, and cross-team collaboration frameworks. The role requires strategic vision and hands-on execution to evolve our content impact from primarily supportive to strategic and essential.
Own and evolve Tinuiti's content strategy across all formats, modernizing for the industry-wide changes we continue to see (SGE/AIOs, LLM visibility and impact, AI and automation in our processes, etc.)
Current: blog articles, research reports, in-depth guides, webinars
Evolving and upcoming: video, short-form vertical video, podcasts, multimedia approaches to content, etc.
Manage small team of direct reports and drive consistent collaboration between content, research, social media (comms), and campaign teams — with strategic breadth that brings team-wide efforts into harmony for cohesive content experiences
Develop clear frameworks for evaluating and prioritizing content opportunities (both proactive opps and internal requests) to guide teamwide focus and improve the impact our content can have
Design and implement standardized content workflows — including our project management source of truth (Wrike), automation, and generative AI, where applicable
Maintain teamwide documentation for content processes, quality standards, guidelines, and key decisions
Develop templates and tools that support both content ideation and creation. We’re looking for someone with a strong creative sensibility and a decisive point of view on what makes content great—paired with the ability to articulate and share that thinking to upskill the broader team. As AI continues to evolve, a high taste level, clear POV, and the ability to adapt will be key to thriving in this role.
Establish and communicate content request SLAs, expectations, and boundaries across the broader org and even external stakeholders
Create and maintain quality standards, guidelines, and processes for content, Tinuiti-wide — including the development of GPTs, workflows, and other methods to improve adoption
Partner with the research team to integrate insights into marketing-level content strategy while also providing a feedback loop to our VP of Research, to inform future efforts.
Work with demand gen and comms teams to optimize content distribution across the various channels they operate (email, partnerships,
Collaborate with the campaign team to develop content plans that align with strategic initiatives and support overall campaign goals.
Support sales team by creating high-value content for enterprise prospects
Define and track content KPIs that ladder up to revenue goals — focusing the team in on a content North Star and identifying leading and lagging indicators of our progress
Consult on better content dashboards and attribution models, teamwide, alongside marketing leadership team — focus should be on content’s business impact
Analyze past content performance, industry trends, and competitor activities, to recommend strategic adjustments and experiments we should be running
Develop an experimental framework for Tinuiti content tests, so we can gather our learnings from across the team in a centralized place where the entire team can benefit and optimize their own efforts
6-10+ years of B2B content strategy experience
Proven track record with measurable results to share, prioritizing curiosity, learning, and growth throughout your career
Holistic and revenue-driven approach to content marketing, with a strong perspective on how content should contribute to the business and be measured on that impact
Agile and adaptable, with the ability to think strategically, solve problems independently, and learn quickly in the uncharted waters
You play well with others and collaborate in a way that allows everyone to contribute according to their strengths — including cross-functional collaboration and change management
Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently $140,000 - $166,000 plus performance bonus of up to 10%. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits and equity upon requests. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted up to or over 100% of the offered base salary (no cap).
