Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Director, Client Services to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our healthcare clients, ensuring smooth operations, performance excellence, and long-term satisfaction with our RCM services. You’ll work closely with internal teams—including billing, coding, analytics, and compliance—to deliver results that meet and exceed client expectations. This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who understands the ins and outs of revenue cycle workflows and thrives in a client-facing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main liaison between RCM operations teams and assigned healthcare clients.

  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s unique workflows, goals, and pain points.

  • Monitor and report on RCM performance metrics (e.g., collections, days in A/R, denial rates) for each client account.

  • Lead regular client meetings to review KPIs, resolve issues, and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations and contractual terms.

  • Identify and escalate risks or performance issues in a timely, solutions-oriented manner.

  • Support the onboarding process for new clients, including workflow documentation, training coordination, and system setup.

  • Partner with clients to drive optimization initiatives that improve revenue outcomes and operational efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records of communications, escalations, and key performance insights.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience managing multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment.

  • A consultative mindset, with the ability to build trusted relationships and drive value.

  • Comfortable navigating complex client needs and managing competing priorities.

  • Passionate about improving healthcare revenue outcomes and client success.

  • Strong understanding of RCM processes, including billing, coding, claims management, denials, and collections.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret RCM data, turning insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Work Experience, Education, and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

  • 2-5 years of experience in an account management, client services, or revenue cycle role (provider or vendor side).

  • Proficiency with RCM platforms (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth, NextGen) and analytics tools.

Working Conditions, Physical Requirements, and Travel Requirements:

  • 100% Remote.

  • Travel up to 10% as needed.
