POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Channel Sales & Technical Alliances will lead the strategy, execution, and expansion of our global partner ecosystem to accelerate revenue growth and strengthen our position in the cybersecurity and SIEM market. 

This role is responsible for driving partner-sourced pipeline through VARs, GSIs, and regional resellers while simultaneously developing strategic technical alliances that enhance integrations across the broader security ecosystem (EDR, SOAR, Identity, Cloud, Threat Intelligence, etc.). 

The ideal candidate has deep experience in enterprise cybersecurity sales, understands complex SIEM buying cycles, and has successfully built revenue-producing partner programs in high-growth security organizations. In the SIEM and security analytics space, ecosystem depth and partner execution are critical differentiators. This leader will directly impact market expansion, competitive positioning, and long-term revenue scalability by building a partner-first growth engine. 


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Channel Sales Strategy & Execution 

  • Develop and execute a global channel strategy aligned to enterprise SIEM sales objectives. 
  • Recruit, enable, and grow high-impact VARs, GSIs, and regional resellers. 
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline to meet aggressive ARR targets. 
  • Align closely with regional sales leaders to embed partners into complex enterprise deals. 
  • Build joint account plans with top-tier partners to penetrate Fortune 2000 accounts. 
  • Establish clear performance metrics, revenue targets, and accountability frameworks. 
  • Optimize partner compensation, deal registration, and incentive programs to drive engagement. 

 

 Technical Alliances & Ecosystem Development 

  • Identify and prioritize strategic integrations across the cybersecurity stack, including: 
  • EDR/XDR platforms 
  • SOAR solutions 
  • Identity & Access Management 
  • Cloud security providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) 
  • Threat intelligence providers 
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to drive roadmap alignment for key integrations. 
  • Lead joint solution development and validation initiatives. 
  • Drive co-marketing campaigns, solution briefs, webinars, and field enablement programs with alliance partners. 
  • Establish executive relationships within strategic technology partners to drive long-term alignment. 

 

Cross-Functional Leadership 

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Field Engineering teams. 
  • Ensure partners are technically enabled to position and deploy complex SIEM solutions. 
  • Provide field intelligence to influence product roadmap and competitive positioning. 
  • Support large enterprise RFPs and strategic pursuits through partner collaboration. 

 

Team & Program Leadership 

  • Build and lead a high-performing channel and alliances team. 
  • Implement scalable partner lifecycle management processes. 
  • Track partner pipeline contribution, win rates, and activation metrics. 


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity channel sales or alliances. 
  • Direct experience with SIEM, XDR, SOC platforms, or enterprise security analytics. 
  • Proven success building revenue-generating MSSP and GSI ecosystems. 
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles (6–12+ months). 
  • Strong understanding of SOC operations and security architecture. 
  • Track record of exceeding partner-sourced revenue targets. 
  • Executive presence with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in high-growth SaaS or cloud-native cybersecurity companies. 
  • Familiarity with consumption-based pricing and managed services models. 
  • Experience working with hyperscalers and cloud marketplaces. 
  • Background in security operations or technical pre-sales is a plus.

  • Expansion into new enterprise accounts via partner ecosystem
