About Us
Health is the most important thing in life, and the American healthcare system is completely broken - poor outcomes, high cost, bad patient experience. We're building a new system from the ground up.

Our mission is to improve people’s health by making it easy to live a healthy lifestyle.

Nourish is the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. We’re an AI-native digital health system matching patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, we've completed millions of appointments, tripled year-over-year, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems.

In 2026 we raised a $100M Series C, bringing total funding to $215M. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners.

This is not a job for everyone. We hold an extremely high bar because we believe talent density is our biggest competitive advantage. We're looking for people who actively choose hard, ambiguous problems, who run toward unglamorous work, give and receive candid feedback, and bring relentless resilience without the ego. Our work is important, but we are not self-important. We do this because we’re solving one of the hardest problems in the world, and the problem matters. If that's you, we disproportionately reward it.

About the Role

Nourish has effectively scaled our care for Registered Dietitians specifically. The next act is building a true virtual metabolic health clinic. We're expanding beyond dietitians into medical care (including GLP-1s) and therapy, and early results show strong product-market fit. As Director of Care Strategy, you will own the clinical side of this expansion end-to-end: designing how new provider types deliver care, building the protocols and oversight that make that care excellent, and integrating everything into one seamless patient experience.

This is a 0→1 leadership role. You'll contribute foundational work yourself, supporting our MDs, NPs, therapists, and RDs to build the workflows for how care actually gets delivered. You’ll translate learnings from those individual builds in a way that helps us scale and maximize the output of the care model. You will learn from clinical voices and take prescriptive stances on what care a given patient should achieve.

You'll manage and develop senior team members focused on our care model and outcomes, and partner closely with our CEO, Medical Leadership team, Corporate Strategy team, and the rest of the Clinical Strategy team. This person will report into our Senior Director of Clinical Operations and be a key member of the Clinical Strategy leadership team.

This role is full-time and open to NYC-based candidates only (expectation to work in-person 3-4 days per week, with some remote flexibility). Our office is located in Gramercy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end provider care model, building the cross-provider type approach to care that leads to world-class patient health outcomes.
  • Own the clinical buildout of new care offerings, partnering with the Corporate Strategy team to make clinical strategy decisions on how new provider types operate, developing protocols, SOPs, oversight processes, and onboarding/training design for new provider types (medical, therapy, labs), working directly with clinicians to get the details right
  • Drive measurable improvements in attach rates and health outcomes by continuously improving our own clinical care model based on new research and internal data
  • Drive clinical integration across provider types, turning standalone services into one coherent care model (specific referral pathways, coordination of care between providers, and inter-provider communication
  • Partner cross-functionally at the leadership level — with our medical leadership on clinical rigor, Corporate Strategy on new offering launches, and Product on clinical tooling and the provider experience
We’d love to hear from you if:
  • You have 10+ years of experience, ideally with deep clinical operations experience
  • You've worked directly with clinicians or in a healthcare field, and know how to earn trust, build clinical workflows, and drive oversight
  • You're a player-coach: genuinely excited to do hands-on 0→1 building now, with the judgment and experience to develop the strategy and team behind it
  • You've led teams before and are excellent at people management, including managing senior, high-performing direct reports
  • You're a first-principles thinker who can hold a strong point of view amid ambiguity, synthesize learnings across teams, and make high-stakes care model decisions with conviction
  • You care deeply about clinical outcomes and bring a data-driven mindset, so you know what to measure and change course based on what the data says
  • You're extremely comfortable working cross-functionally, from clinical leadership to product, engineering, data, and operations
