Our diverse clientele includes industries such as Telecom/Datacom, Aerospace and Defence, Consumer, Semiconductors, Industrial/Automotive Controls, and Medical. 

We are seeking a creative individual with great communication skills, a passion for Technology and Customer Service and a strong background in developing and executing business development strategies. The preferred candidate would be located within the Pacific Northwest area and required to travel 50% of the time.

A look into the Business Development Director at Fidus

  • Drive and close new business opportunities selling Fidus products and services.
  • Generate revenue through prospecting, up-selling and cross-selling activities within a territory or account.
  • Leverage existing partner relationships in the industry for introductions to new contacts.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of client’s business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into opportunities for us to win their business.
  • Position Fidus as an early-stage design consultant in the conception and delivery of our customer’s innovative products.

Attributes and Qualifications Required

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience working with semiconductors, electronic design services, embedded software or similar industry experience.
  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
  • Prior experience selling services in both turnkey design and outsourced staffing, for high speed, high complexity designs is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to successfully demonstrate the required technical competency in electronic design services or similar industries.
