About this Role

GoodRx is looking for a Director, Brand Marketing to build out and lead the Brand Marketing function. This team will be responsible for the brand strategy, GTM management, visual identity, messaging, and creative strategy for the GoodRx brand and key corporate initiatives. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in building brands, developing and implementing brand strategies, and leading go-to-market strategies and campaigns either at agencies or in-house. The individual should excel at cross-functional collaboration, brand storytelling, creative enablement, and foundational brand strategy principles. 

Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy:

  • Lead the continued development of the GoodRx refreshed brand blue print and the application of that work across various departments and customer touchpoints 

  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to bring this brand strategy to life in a clear, consistent, and compelling manner 

Brand Campaign Development & Execution: 

  • Steward the creative strategy and messaging for upper funnel brand campaigns 

  • Serve as the “quarterback” across the org in bringing these campaigns to market, in close partnership with internal and external partners and vendors 

Audience & Content Strategy Development: 

  • Collaborate with key cross-functional partners, including PR, Editorial, Research, and Social Media, to develop an enterprise level content strategy with key content tentpoles based on business priorities and seasonality 

  • Work closely with the Social Media team to translate this content strategy into social-first campaigns, content, and activations 

Brand Health:

  • Collaborate with internal Insights team to develop and steward a recurring Brand Health dashboard 

  • Lead the strategy on evergreen brand health initiatives, including but not limited to naming, identity, etc., in order to ensure GoodRx creates a consistent brand experience with strong brand attribution 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required 

  • Minimum 15 years of developing brand strategies and go-to-market strategies, either within an agency or a brand (both is preferred) 

  • Strong understanding of brand strategy principles, brand health tracking, and consumer insights 

  • Extensive experience collaborating with creative, social, and product teams 

  • Experience in healthcare is preferred but not required if you have passion for GoodRx’s mission to make healthcare affordable and are dedicated to hitting the ground running and learning as you go.

At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Please contact your recruiter for additional information.

San Francisco and Seattle Offices:

$190,000.00 - $305,000.00

New York Office:

$174,000.00 - $279,000.00

Santa Monica Office:

$158,000.00 - $254,000.00

Other Office Locations:

$142,000.00 - $229,000.00
