Say hello to opportunities.

If you’re looking to be part of what’s next in communication, you’re in the right place.

At RingCentral, we believe the best customer experiences happen when humans and AI work together. Our agentic voice AI portfolio—AIR, AVA, and ACE—brings together automation, assistance, and insights across the entire conversation lifecycle. The result? More seamless, intelligent experiences for businesses everywhere.

With $2.5B+ in ARR and $250M invested in R&D annually, we’re building the future of AI-powered business communications.

This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for: RingCentral is looking for a Director, AI & Process Automation to serve as our internal AI opportunity hunter — embedding across the business to identify where intelligent automation can eliminate friction, reduce cost, and accelerate outcomes, then driving those initiatives to completion. This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role that sits within Operations. This is not a strategy-deck role—it’s a builder’s role.

The right person thrives as an influencer and orchestrator — earning trust with business leaders, translating operational pain into automation opportunity, and partnering with IT, vendors, and functional teams to deliver results. You are the bridge between what’s possible with AI and what gets done—technically credible enough to architect solutions, commercially sharp enough to prioritize the ones that move the needle, and influential enough to bring a large, distributed organization along with you.

To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

  • Conducting ongoing discovery across functions (Sales, Finance, HR, Customer Success, Legal, etc.) to identify high-value automation and AI opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining a prioritized AI/automation opportunity pipeline with business cases tied to ROI, time savings, and risk reduction
  • Leading end-to-end delivery of automation initiatives — from scoping and vendor selection through implementation and adoption — without necessarily owning the engineering resources
  • Serving as the internal subject matter expert on AI tools, agentic workflows, RPA platforms, and LLM-powered process automation
  • Partnering with IT and Engineering to ensure solutions are architecturally sound, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards
  • Building strong relationships with business unit leaders to embed a culture of continuous automation thinking across the organization
  • Defining and tracking KPIs that demonstrate the business impact of automation initiatives
  • Monitoring the external AI/automation landscape and bringing relevant innovations back to the business
  • Representing Operations in enterprise-wide AI governance and strategy discussions

Desired Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, business transformation, or technology roles — with meaningful hands-on experience in AI and automation
  • Technically credible: you understand LLMs, prompt engineering, workflow automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier, MuleSoft, or similar), APIs, and AI integration patterns well enough to evaluate trade-offs, guide engineers, and engage in substantive design conversations.
  • Proven track record of identifying operational inefficiencies and delivering measurable, automation-driven improvements
  • Demonstrated track record of taking AI automation initiatives from concept to production at enterprise scale—not just building strategies, but shipping solutions that delivered measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language — and business pain into solvable technical problems
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable influencing senior leaders without direct authority
  • Strong program management instincts: you bring structure and rigor to ambiguous environments, manage multiple concurrent initiatives without losing momentum, and hold teams accountable to outcomes over activities.
  • Experience managing vendors and implementation partners
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment — this role will evolve as the company’s AI maturity grows
  • Experience in SaaS or technology companies preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

What we offer:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance
  • Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSAs) and Commuter benefits
  • 401K match and ESPP
  • Paid time off and paid sick leave
  • Paid parental and pregnancy leave and new parent gift boxes
  • Family-forming benefits (IVF, Preservation, Adoption etc.)
  • Emergency backup care (Child/Adult/Pets)
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with counseling sessions available 24/7
  • Free legal services that provide legal advice, document creation and estate planning
  • Employee bonus referral program
  • Student loan refinancing assistance
  • Employee perks and discounts program
