About the Opportunity: Corporate Director of Financial Analysis, you will help the Head of Corporate FP&A tell the financial story of the business, manage the budget/ forecast cycles, and lead long range planning, while providing key strategic insights to the CFO and the rest of the C-suite.
Your day-to-day at Sagent:Leadership and Management:
- Help the corporation achieve its goals by effectively leading and partnering with divisional CFOs and business leaders throughout the organization.
- Lead the generation and distribution of the monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
Research and Analysis:
- Generate forecasts and conduct in-depth analysis of trends in sales, finance, and other areas of business.
- Identify KPIs and leverage business data to drive cost reduction initiatives throughout the organization.
- Analyze the P&L and prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for management.
- Research economic progressions to provide critical insights for the organization's financial planning.
Financial Modeling:
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of complex financial models that provide actionable intelligence to business leaders to optimize business performance and foster Net Income growth.
- Provide guidance on investment and project decisions based on comprehensive financial analysis.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or relevant discipline with 6 - 8 years of experience in a related field within a SaaS or financial technology company.
- Strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and trend analysis.
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on achieving goals through effective management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Expert Excel knowledge a must.
- Experience in transactional advisory services with one of the Big 4
- Experience working with Board/C-suite clients
- Corporate Business Partnership a plus
- Long range planning/strategic planning
- Private Equity/transaction experience
