The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented Digital Strategy Advisor who will serve as a trusted partner and consultative advisor with the objective of understanding and determining the Digital needs of financial institutions served by Velera. This role will lead a mission-focused effort to increase support by working collaboratively with leadership and product teams to execute effective strategic plans to support and drive a digital strategy.

Day in the Life:

  • Design and recommend digital strategies that align with client objectives, customer expectations, and competative landscape.

  • Develop short term and long term digital strategy (Next 5 years).

  • Guide internal stakeholders and clients through digital solutions.  Ensure ease of adoption and measurable outcomes.

  • Innovation Champion.  Stay ahead of emerging digital trends (RTP, wallets, tap to anything, etc.) and translate to actionable insights and opportunities.

  • Cross functional collabortion.  Work with SPM of digital tools and provide assistance and collaboration of strategy for current enhancements and future opportunities.

  • Leverage data for soliciating client and consumer feedback.

  • Lead assigned projects including cross-functional teams in support of Velera, business unit, and/or department goals and objectives. Maintain current operational knowledge of all VELERA offered products and service applications that may influence an effective outcome.

  • Responsible for recognizing opportunities for addressing fraud issues, risk and exposure on behalf of Velera and member-owner credit unions. 

  • Create and present professional presentations for various fraud meetings and member-owner training functions.  Ability to communicate via conference calls and deliver high quality PowerPoint presentations via webinars and face-to-face meetings with Member owners and upper management.

  • Exercise exceptional communication skills with every contact with internal customers and external partners.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Marketing or digital experience a plus.

  • 5+years of experience in digital banking, digital transformation, or strategy consulting.

  • Strong knowledge of digital banking platforms, fintech ecosystems, and emerging payment technologies.

  • Experience in payment processing and financial services.

Pay Equity

$95,800.00

to

$124,500.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
