Reporting to a Director of Digital Product Management, the Product Manager is responsible for owning and advancing specific components of the Optum Financial Digital Experience with a focus on consumer and commercial-facing digital products. This role plays a critical part in translating strategic direction into actionable product plans, delivering high-quality digital solutions that improve consumer experiences and business outcomes.
This position requires a product leader who excels at execution, collaboration, and user-centered problem solving. The Product Manager partners closely with technology, UX/UI, analytics, marketing, and business stakeholders to define requirements, manage backlogs, and deliver iterative product enhancements aligned with enterprise priorities.

- Product Ownership & Execution: Own the day-to-day management of assigned digital products or features, from discovery through delivery and post-launch optimization
- User-Centered Delivery: Apply user-centered design principles to define product requirements that improve usability, accessibility, and customer satisfaction
- Roadmap Contribution: Contribute to product roadmaps by identifying opportunities, dependencies, and sequencing aligned with broader portfolio priorities
- Backlog & Requirements Management: Develop and maintain product backlogs, epics, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria to support agile delivery
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business, technology, UX/UI, and analytics teams to ensure shared understanding of priorities, scope, and outcomes
- Data & Performance Measurement: Monitor product performance using analytics tools, NPS, and user feedback to inform continuous improvement
- User Research & Testing: Participate in user research, usability testing, and experimentation efforts to validate assumptions and refine solutions
- Prioritization Support: Balance competing demands within assigned product areas while aligning with strategic direction and delivery timelines
- Agile Participation: Actively participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and reviews to ensure timely and high-quality delivery

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in digital product management, product ownership, or related roles
- Experience delivering consumer-facing digital products in an agile environment
- Experience translating business needs and user insights into clear product requirements
- Proven working knowledge of analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics
- Demonstrated familiarity with agile frameworks and tools such as JIRA or similar platforms
- Proven solid problem-solving skills with a user- and data-driven mindset
- Proven solid collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and execute in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in digital product management or related roles
- Experience working on consumer financial products, healthcare-related digital platforms, or regulated environments
- Experience with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, or iterative optimization practices
- Experience supporting business cases, impact assessments, or roadmap tradeoff discussions
- Exposure to UX/UI design processes and collaboration tools such as Figma
- Proven basic technical understanding of front-end or API-based systems
