At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life’s uncertainties. And for more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers’ evolving needs. From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of how Allstate communicates with millions of customers every day. As the Digital Product Manager for C3 Communications, you will lead the evolution of our customer communications ecosystem—driving clarity from ambiguity, defining strategic direction, and delivering iterative value through MVPs and continuous improvement.
You will contribute to defining, delivering, and managing a product within Allstate’s growing digital communications portfolio. You will help establish strategic product vision, lead product discovery, define roadmaps, and manage backlogs to maximize customer and business value. Successful candidates will be comfortable operating in the grey, validating assumptions through experimentation, and championing customer centric thinking at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape product vision and strategy by partnering with business, technology, and design stakeholders to identify high value opportunities and align on measurable business outcomes.
• Lead product discovery and scoping using research, data analysis, customer insights, and test and learn approaches to validate assumptions and inform product decisions.
• Define and track key product metrics, using insights to optimize performance, refine strategy, and guide roadmap prioritization.
• Translate complex, ambiguous problems into clear, prioritized backlogs—writing, refining, and accepting high quality product stories in agile tools.
Facilitate agile ceremonies and champion agile best practices to enable effective collaboration and delivery within cross functional and XP development teams.
• Communicate complex or innovative concepts through compelling storytelling tailored to technical teams, senior leaders, and nontechnical audiences.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, and vendor partners to deliver high quality digital products across internal and externally managed solutions.
• Apply strong product technology awareness while balancing strategic vision with detailed execution to ensure exceptional end to end product outcomes.
• Advocate for customer experience excellence, ensuring communications are intuitive, timely, and aligned with customer needs and preferences.

Preferred Skills
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience conducting product scoping, discovery, framing, and backlog ownership for digital products.
• Proven ability to lead agile ceremonies and apply agile best practices within DPTs.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver, quantify and positively impact product goals / outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to breakdown complex and innovative concepts to product development teams.

• Experience working with a highly skilled XP software development team.
• Experience managing and delivering Java based products.
Proficiency with Mural, agile methodologies, Agility, and Digital Product Health (DPH).
• Experience in customer front end products.
• Background in customer experience design or journey optimization.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.
