Digital Product Designer – Interaction DesignRole

We are seeking candidates to partner with a global pharmaceutical company at the forefront of innovation. The organization’s innovation incubator drives transformational change by creating and developing cutting-edge solutions that redefine healthcare from every angle – production, branding, communications, technology, etc. We are looking for a talented and experienced Product Designer with an emphasis on Interaction Design to join a pod of creative professionals in shaping the future of pharma.

As an Interaction-Focused Product Designer, you will be instrumental in designing meaningful, user-centered experiences that drive engagement and improve usability. This individual contributor role requires 5-10 years of experience in UX and interaction design, with strong expertise in crafting efficient, accessible, and cohesive user flows. This team member will have exceptional execution capabilities, and will be tasked with delivering high-fidelity, polished concepts and ensuring visual consistency and interaction logic across prototypes and deliverables.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage Figma, Adobe XD or other like design tools to develop high-fidelity concepts that represent the final interactive experience.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product management, engineering, and visual design—to create cohesive and frictionless user experiences that are compelling to both customers and internal leadership.
  • Execute innovative and visually stunning designs for digital platforms, including websites, applications, presentations, and campaigns, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Employ design thinking and UX principles to map out effective interactions that support user needs and business goals.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in interaction design, with a strong portfolio showcasing intuitive, user-centered designs and user flows in digital products.
  • Proficiency in Figma for designing, prototyping, and iterating on interactive experiences.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design patterns, accessibility standards, and usability best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to balance user needs with technical constraints and project requirements.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to execute polished, detail-oriented designs quickly and accurately

  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, and investigative skills
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
    • Effective teamwork, interpersonal, conflict management and negotiation skills
    • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with peers, business partners and management

Physical Demands:

  • Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Regular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling. Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools (e.g., phone, video conferencing).
  • Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, as well as adjust focus. This includes prolonged periods of looking at a computer screen.

Below is the pay range of this position for considered candidates based on qualifications and experience.
