Job Summary/Description:

Seeking an experienced meteorologist with a specific focus on digital streaming and OTT to push WBTV's weather content. Joining our First Alert team means being at the forefront of severe weather coverage, storytelling, and audience engagement across multiple platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Deliver concise weather coverage exclusively on streaming and OTT platforms.
• Lead and innovate our digital weather strategy to provide up-to-the-minute digital weather reports.
• Confidently communicate complex weather information clearly for a digital audience.
• Collaborate with newsroom and digital teams to bolster audience engagement.
• Embrace emerging technologies to enhance the digital experience.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Proven broadcast and digital experience in meteorology.
• Strong digital presence and storytelling skill set.
• Highly experienced in severe weather forecasting and social media engagement.
• Extensive understanding of digital, streaming, and OTT platforms.
• Prior experience as a lead meteorologist preferred but not required.
