Success in this role requires a strong combination of digital marketing expertise, technical fluency, analytical thinking, operational discipline, and the ability to independently manage complex marketing systems and performance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy, Website & Conversion

  • Own digital marketing strategy across website, organic, and paid channels.
  • Serve as Marketing business owner and subject matter expert for the CMS ecosystem and website roadmap, with WordPress expertise strongly preferred.
  • Analyze user journeys and establish a continuous conversion-rate optimization and experimentation program.
  • Partner with Creative, Content, and technical resources to improve digital experiences.
  • Use performance data and testing to identify opportunities to improve website and landing-page effectiveness, audience engagement, and conversion.

SEO, AEO & Emerging Discovery

  • Lead organic search strategy, technical SEO oversight, and search performance monitoring.
  • Establish answer-engine and AI-discovery practices and monitor how AI-powered discovery changes audience behavior and visibility.
  • Partner with Content on topic, keyword, question, and content opportunities.
  • Monitor evolving search behaviors, platform changes, and emerging discovery practices and recommend appropriate adjustments to Jackrabbit’s digital strategy.

Paid Digital

  • Own paid search, paid social, display, and retargeting strategy and performance, directly and/or through agency partners.
  • Ensure effective audience strategy, conversion tracking, landing-page alignment, experimentation, and spend optimization.
  • Monitor paid acquisition performance and recommend adjustments that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with marketing and business goals.

Marketing Technology & Automation

  • Serve as Marketing subject matter expert for CRM and marketing automation platforms, with HubSpot expertise strongly preferred.
  • Own marketing configuration and governance for properties, segmentation, lists, forms, workflows, campaign structures, scoring, and lifecycle automation.
  • Design and optimize nurture programs, triggered journeys, and scalable automation.
  • Train marketers to execute routine work within established standards while retaining ownership of complex architecture, governance, and quality assurance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness, scalability, and usability of Jackrabbit’s marketing technology ecosystem.

Analytics, Attribution & Data

  • Own digital analytics strategy, including GA4 or comparable platforms, tagging, events, conversions, and UTM standards.
  • Build and maintain recurring dashboards for channel, campaign, funnel, lifecycle, and pipeline performance.
  • Develop attribution approaches and connect digital behavior to lead, opportunity, customer, and revenue outcomes.
  • Monitor database health and partner with Sales and RevOps on lifecycle definitions, scoring, routing, handoffs, and data governance.
  • Translate digital and funnel data into clear insights and recommendations that support marketing priorities and business decision-making.

What You're About:

Required:

  • Strong understanding of workflows, segmentation, lifecycle automation, attribution, UTMs, tagging, conversion tracking, and funnel reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze digital performance and translate findings into practical recommendations and optimization opportunities.
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reporting that connect marketing activity to funnel and business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, systems, and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and technical teams without direct authority.
  • Must have reliable high-speed internet access.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for employees based near Charlotte, North Carolina, or up to 25% for employees based outside the Charlotte area.

Preferred:
