We are seeking a Digital Design Lead to join our creative team, partnering with a global leader in pharmaceutical innovation. In this role, you’ll be joining a dynamic team that’s pushing the boundaries of digital health. As part of the organization’s innovation engine, you’ll operate with the agility of a startup but with the backing of a global leader, focusing on the rapid development and prototyping of breakthrough ideas.

As a Design Lead within the Incubation Lab you'll set the vision, leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional work across a diverse range of project. You are expected to be confident, collaborative, and able to drive design forward with conviction. Design Leads’ responsibilities include strategic planning, guiding concept development, providing creative direction and coordinating with other leads to ensure design teams consistently deliver high-quality design solutions that align with business objectives, though also being hands-on with UX & UI work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and inspire creative professionals to deliver exceptional digital solutions that elegantly unify form and function and are a joy for our user 
  • Oversee the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with strategic business objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between the project teams and stakeholders, communicating design rationale, managing expectations and translating feedback. 
  • Work closely with Design and Senior leadership to define project scopes and resource needs, ensuring projects are well-staffed and manageable. 
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback to nurture the professional development of designers on the team. 
  • Stay ahead of trends, emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices to help our design practice continuously evolve and improve. 
  • Help teams understand when and how to push the boundaries of creativity, quality and innovation while still maintaining consistent design standards for the organization. 
  • Demonstrate a high level of executive accountability, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to prioritize resource workload to efficiently deliver results. 
Qualifications
  • 10 years’ experience in visual design with experience designing for digital mediums. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, such as Digital Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication Designer, Human Computer Interaction or a similar field. Equivalent practical experience is also acceptable. 
  • Exceptional portfolio of experience design work spanning multiple design projects and mediums, with on interface or screen-based experiences.  
  • A high level of intellectual curiosity, strong analytical, problem solving, and investigative skills paired with a passion for innovation. 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, possessing the ability to make complex ideas simple and consumable for a broad range of collaborators. 
  • A creative and collaborative spirit to build strong relationships and effectively navigate conflict with peers and partners. 

Below is the pay range of this position for considered candidates based on qualifications and experience.

Pay Range
$70$75 USD
