This is a hybrid role offering remote work opportunity with some travel required for occasional in-person team meetings. Pay Range
$30.15 - $45.25The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for writing high-quality content that tells the health system’s story across a wide range of multimedia channels such as multiple care-delivery websites, health and wellness blogs, marketing campaigns, and consumer-first digital products. Works closely and collaboratively with content team leaders to ensure a consistent voice and disciplined message are delivered in a creative, compelling and customizable way for all channels. Partners closely with the division’s Digital Experience team, serving as a digital content expert.
Major Responsibilities:
- Serve as digital content expert while partnering closely with the Digital Experience team
- Research, conduct interviews, write and edit content that’s optimized for organic and AI search (SEO & AEO) and user experience for organization’s 30+ websites, email marketing and other digital platforms including blog posts
- Implement the enterprise-wide health and wellness content strategy
- Create and edit content to support messaging maps, organization-wide content calendar and initiatives across the division
- Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, tone of voice, and optimized for relevant communications channels
- Maintain understanding of content channels and standards across the division, including brand, marketing, digital, social, media and public affairs
- Assist with large website migrations, including auditing and optimizing existing content and creating new content.
- Edit webpages in content management system
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- None Required.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field, or
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations or related field such as Journalism.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 2 years of experience preferably in Digital Marketing, Journalism or Public Affairs, Public Relations, and Communications. Experience producing high-quality content for wide range of platforms and channels in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Strong understanding of SEO and AEO (answer engine optimization) and digital platforms and channels
- Proven experience producing high-quality website content in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and oral communications
- Strong organizational skills
- Storytelling capabilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Experience customizing content for a wide range of channels and audiences
- Able to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Able to prioritize and produce content for both long- and short-term projects
- Well-versed in AP Style
- Familiarity with Sitecore or other CMS
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
