NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Digital Content Editor based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office.

The Digital Content Editor is responsible for editing and enhancing digital show content specifically for social media platforms. The Editor plays a key role in adapting long-form show content into engaging, platform-optimized clips that drive reach, engagement, and audience growth across channels, including but not limited to YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and TikTok.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Edit and adapt digital show content for various social media platforms with speed, precision, and creativity.
  • Identify standout moments within digital shows that resonate with social audiences and align with platform trends.
  • Apply expert-level knowledge of platform best practices to format and enhance videos for maximum engagement.
  • Maintain the tone and identity of each digital show while tailoring content to the nuances of each platform.
  • Collaborate with producers, talent, and graphic designers to ensure consistency. 
  • Stay current with social media trends, algorithm changes, and video editing tools to inform creative decisions.
  • Edit full shows to publish on YouTube, FAST Channels & other content platforms
  • Travel: <5%

Required skills/experience:                           

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and three (3) years editing experience and/or training specifically for social media platforms; or equivalent combination of education and experience.                        
  • Proficient in company-provided hardware and software, including Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated expertise with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and X – including platform specs, trends, and audience behavior.
  • Strong storytelling instincts and a sharp eye for what performs well on social media.
  • Ability to work quickly under tight deadlines while maintaining high creative standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
