Lead strategic planning for the Digital & Analytics portfolio, aligning with senior leaders and ensuring effective execution against priorities while simplifying complexity.
The summary above was generated by AI

We’re looking for a strategic leader to help bring clarity, coherence, and execution discipline across the Financial Advisor Services (FAS) Digital & Analytics portfolio. This role is designed for someone who thrives in complexity - someone who can connect strategy to delivery, bring structure to ambiguity, and elevate how we plan, prioritize, and communicate across a large, interconnected ecosystem.

The Portfolio Strategy Lead serves as a critical connector between strategy, people, process and execution. Acting as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, this role helps ensure we are focused on the right problems, making deliberate portfolio choices, and operating in a way that allows teams to deliver on our commitments. This is a high-impact role for a leader who is comfortable operating in the gray, asking hard questions, and raising the bar on strategic clarity and quality.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership Alignment
•    Partner closely with senior leaders to shape strategic direction, surface trade-offs, and maintain alignment on priorities and outcomes.
•    Develop clear, executive-ready materials that articulate where we are, what’s changing, and what actions or decisions are needed.

Portfolio Strategy & Governance
•    Maintain a cohesive, outcome-driven portfolio strategy - moving beyond disconnected roadmaps to a deliberate set of choices aligned to business and client outcomes.
•    Assess portfolio health with an objective lens, identifying capacity constraints, gaps, duplication, dependencies, and misalignment with strategic intent.

Cross-Functional Communication & Alignment
•    Ensure teams understand the “why,” not just the “what,” behind priorities and decisions.
•    Drive consistency in how strategy, progress, and value are communicated across stakeholders.
•    Synthesize complexity into a clear narrative, elevate risks and issues early, and enable leaders to make informed decisions quickly.

What Good Looks Like
•    Portfolio decisions are clearer, more intentional, and tightly connected to strategic outcomes.
•    Teams spend less time seeking clarity and more time delivering meaningful value.
•    Cross-functional friction is reduced; readiness improves; decision-making becomes faster and more disciplined for our most critical work.
•    We see measurable improvements in advisor experience, client outcomes, and value delivery - because our collective effort is focused on the work that matters most.

Qualifications:
•    Minimum of eight years of related business experience; financial services and function-specific experience required.
•    At least four years of project or program management experience.
•    Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; graduate degree preferred.
•    Strong background in product, strategy, or operations within complex, regulated environments.
•    Ability to operate fluidly between portfolio-level strategy and execution-level detail.
•    Exceptional communicator who can simplify complexity and influence across functions.
•    Comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking direct questions, and pushing for alignment.
•    Experience in digital product management and the Sales and/or Advisor experience is a plus.
