About the Client
Our client is a mission-driven, tech-forward education company creating engaging tools that make financial literacy accessible to everyone. Their flagship product is a modern board game that teaches real-world money skills to families, students, and underserved communities, enhanced by AI-powered learning experiences. They are preparing for broader production and launch and rely on high-impact digital content to fuel growth.

Why does this role exist?
The client is hiring a part-time Digital Marketing Associate to turn content into revenue: editing short-form video, managing social channels, and executing outreach that drives sales. This role also exists to fix and optimize their existing HubSpot setup, ensuring automations, segmentation, and email campaigns support lead generation and nurturing. The immediate objective is to increase qualified leads and sales—aiming to at least double the cost of the role—while building a consistent, brand-aligned content engine.

The Impact you’ll make
Content Creation & Social Media
  • Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts using CapCut (including subtitles and on-brand styling)
  • Edit audio for promotional clips and podcasts
  • Create graphics for posts and marketing materials in Canva
  • Build content calendars and manage posting schedules across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Write compelling captions, post copy, and hashtag strategies; maintain a consistent brand voice
  • Track engagement metrics and iterate content strategy based on performance

Outreach & Lead Generation
  • Conduct outreach to influencers, schools, universities, and industry partners via social and email; light calling is a plus
  • Build and manage lead lists and simple outreach sequences to book demos/meetings
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align outreach with launches, events, and promotions

Email Marketing & HubSpot
  • Create and manage email campaigns in HubSpot, including segmentation, A/B tests, and list hygiene
  • Build and maintain marketing automation workflows; audit, fix, and optimize existing automations with known errors
  • Support lead generation and nurturing funnels; monitor performance and improve open and click rates

Sales Enablement & Launch Support
  • Repurpose content into revenue-driving assets (promo clips, one-pagers, short case studies/testimonials)
  • Coordinate UTM/trackable links for campaigns and report weekly on funnel metrics
  • Support product drops, promotions, partnerships, and school/organization outreach initiatives
  • Shopify familiarity is a nice-to-have for coordinating product updates and tracking (not a primary responsibility)

Operating Rhythm & Communication
  • Provide proactive updates during agreed hours; flag blockers immediately and never go radio silent
  • Execute quickly with a 24–48 hour turnaround on video edits; own deadlines and deliverables
  • Maintain shared content calendars, asset libraries, simple SOPs, and weekly performance summaries

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:
  • Proven short-form video editing experience for TikTok/IG Reels/YouTube Shorts using CapCut; portfolio/samples required
  • Hands-on HubSpot Marketing experience (campaigns, lists/segmentation, building/fixing automations)
  • Social media management across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn with content calendars
  • Canva proficiency for on-brand social graphics and marketing materials; basic audio editing for promo/podcast clips
  • Strong written English for captions/copy; availability and responsiveness M–F, 10am–2pm CST
Your superpowers are...
  • Technical: CapCut, Canva, HubSpot Marketing (email, lists, automations), social scheduling/analytics, basic audio editing, UTM tracking/analytics basics; Shopify familiarity is a plus
  • Soft skills: self-starter, proactive communicator, fast executor, accountable, resourceful, sales/revenue-oriented, organized, and comfortable iterating based on data

WFH Set-Up:
  • Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
  • Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
  • Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
  • Back-up computer and internet connection
  • Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
You should apply if...
  • You treat content as a revenue engine and are energized by turning views into leads and sales
  • You thrive in a fast-moving environment, communicate proactively, and never miss agreed deadlines
  • You can show social media/video samples and point to measurable growth or campaign impact
  • You’re comfortable auditing and fixing broken HubSpot automations and improving email KPIs
  • You’re confident doing outreach (social/email; calling is a plus) to book demos and open doors with partners
What to expect...

Work Setup:
  • Remote position
  • Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
  • Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system
Working Hours:
  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday, 10am to 2pm Central Time
Compensation:
