We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with a strong security-first mindset to drive automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and secure cloud infrastructure delivery for mission-critical systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is passionate about building secure, scalable, and automated solutions for DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) environments.
* Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
* Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
* Integrate static and dynamic security testing into the DevSecOps pipeline (SAST, DAST, container scanning)
* Support configuration management and secrets handling using Vault, SOPS, or AWS KMS
* Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to embed RMF, STIG, and NIST 800-53 controls into the SDLC
* Manage container platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and orchestrate deployment of microservices
* Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices
* Document pipeline workflows, deployment architecture, and security baselines for ATO and audit purposes
Required Qualifications:
* Active Secret clearance with Eligibility for Top Secret/SCI
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Secure SDLC roles
* Strong hands-on experience with:
* CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
* IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
* Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
* Experience integrating security into DevOps pipelines (e.g., SonarQube, Twistlock, Anchore, or Aqua)
* Working knowledge of NIST 800-53/171/172, FedRAMP, and RMF compliance
* Preferred Qualifications:
* Certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer Pro, Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), CISSP, or DevSecOps Foundation
* Experience supporting DoD, CMMC, or IC ATO packages and secure enclaves
* Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture, SBOMs, and software supply chain security
* Salary range: $145,000 - $175,000, depending on experience and skill set
