Job Summary

Leads a team of DevOps engineers in designing and implementing tools, processes, and environments to support software delivery. This role emphasizes mentoring, resource management, and ensuring successful automation, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.

Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the successful implementation of DevOps strategies and best practices.
  • Drive the design and implementation of infrastructure automation and deployment solutions, aligning with organizational goals and maintaining operational excellence.
  • Facilitate collaboration between development, QA, and IT teams to enhance cross-functional workflows and ensure consistent deployment practices.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the DevOps team.
  • Oversee the implementation of scalable and resilient environments, ensuring infrastructure is optimized for performance and reliability.
  • Champion continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) improvements, driving automation initiatives and optimizing pipelines for efficiency.
  • Ensure effective monitoring and proactive maintenance of infrastructure, focusing on system availability, performance, and security.
  • Contribute to the development of infrastructure best practices, ensuring compliance and consistency across all environments.
  • Work in an agile environment, adapting team strategies and processes to meet changing business needs and technical requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4-6 years of experience in DevOps with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of departmental operations, budget management, and strategic planning.
  • Strategic leadership, advanced managerial skills excellent stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of DevOps professionals.
  • Experience in overseeing infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
  • Strong skills in CI/CD process management and optimization.
  • Ability to lead large teams, develop and implement strategic initiatives, and influence senior leadership.
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
