Role Overview 
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our AI and Innovation team. You will be responsible for ensuring the systems we build are scalable, secure, observable, and resilient. You will support projects from prototype to production, fostering a low-friction environment for developers, AI Engineers, and UX designers as we build the apps that will redefine next-generation media experiences. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Collaboration: Work closely with UX and AI engineers to build and integrate production-ready, containerized applications in a shared cloud environment. 

  • Infrastructure & Deployment: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. 

  • Security: Partner with security and compliance teams to implement best practices, including role-based access control and vulnerability management. 

  • Troubleshooting: Collaborate with the development team to diagnose and resolve complex issues across development and production environments. 

  • Innovation: Evaluate and integrate modern DevOps and Observability tools to enhance insights into our AI-powered applications. 

  • Documentation & Standards: Contribute to and uphold best practices for DevOps, InfoSec, and Infrastructure within the global team. 

Qualifications 

  • Experience: 2-4 years in a DevOps role, with required experience supporting Kubernetes-based applications. 

  • Mindset: A curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative individual passionate about creating seamless user experiences. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rotating projects and short deadlines. 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, CIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

Technical Skills 

Required Experience: 

  • Cloud-Native Infrastructure (Azure preferred) 

  • CI/CD Process and Implementation (GitHub Actions preferred) 

  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) 

  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm) 

  • Linux & Git 

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities 

Strongly Preferred: 

  • Experience with taking care of Python applications or custom AI-based applications 

  • Knowledge and experience in implementing application security principles in a Production setting 

  • Familiarity with Observability implementation (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ect) 

  • Experience in an on-call rotation 

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience with Node.js applications 

  • Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright)

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.

The annual salary range for this position is $68,000 - $110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
