Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud provisioning
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and updates of applications
  • Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and security using logging and monitoring tools
  • Implement containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure smooth integration of applications with cloud infrastructure
  • Manage network security, IAM policies, and data encryption to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Conduct incident management and disaster recovery planning to maintain system resilience
  • Take turns in a weekly on-call rotation to resolve production issues

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) operating highly scaled platforms
  • Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub and BigQuery
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go) for automation
  • Experience with IoT architectures, messaging protocols (MQTT, CoAP), and edge computing is a plus
  • This role is available in California, Massachusetts, Georgia, and Utah
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. or eligible for H-1B visa transfer.
