About Bags

Bags is a Solana Token Launchpad, founded in 2023. In just a short time, we’ve become one of the top revenue-generating products in all of crypto.

We’re a very small team of 5 people today, building fast and shipping globally. Our mission is to provide the most reliable, low-latency infrastructure for Solana token launches and trading. With a globally distributed user base, every millisecond matters.

We’re now looking for our first DevOps hire—someone who will shape the foundation of our infrastructure, automation, and reliability culture. This is a rare opportunity to own infrastructure decisions from day one and build the systems that will scale Bags for years to come.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure across AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, IAM, VPC) using Terraform.

  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and Dockerized services for reliability and scalability.

  • Build CI/CD pipelines integrated with GitHub for rapid, safe deployments.

  • Improve monitoring, alerting, and logging for proactive incident response.

  • Partner closely with backend engineers (Node.js, Bun, Rust, Go, Python) to streamline workflows.

  • Implement security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.

  • Drive automation across environments, reducing manual operations.

  • Play a foundational role in defining Bags’ DevOps culture and best practices.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, IAM, VPC).

  • Strong skills in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.

  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Go, Rust, Node.js a plus).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions preferred).

  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in distributed systems.

  • Experience scaling infrastructure for growing products.

  • A builder’s mindset: comfortable making pragmatic trade-offs in a startup environment.

  • High agency and work ethic—this is a startup role that requires ownership and hustle.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with Solana infrastructure or tooling.

  • Experience with ClickHouse for high-performance queries.

  • Background with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).

  • Infrastructure cost optimization experience.

  • Knowledge of database ops (Postgres, DocumentDB, or other cloud-managed DBs).

  • Prior experience as the first DevOps hire or in a startup environment.

Why Join Us
  • Be the first DevOps hire with high ownership and impact.

  • Shape the infrastructure foundation for one of the top revenue-generating products in crypto.

  • Work on low-latency, globally distributed infrastructure at scale.

  • Collaborate with a small, high-caliber engineering team.

  • Competitive compensation and meaningful equity.

  • Remote-friendly with flexible work culture.
