Salesforce Inc. seeks DevOps Engineer in San Francisco, CA:
 

Job Duties: Design automated information systems using IaC best practices.  Write automation tests.  Create system-level bash scripts supporting one-off initiatives.  Implement automated information systems using IaC.  Implement and optimize deployment pipelines using automation tools and configuration management.  Consult and collaborate with engineering teams, elicit requirements for system level monitoring on new feature implementations, and provide operational context including performance/cost/availability metrics and diagnostics.  Test and maintain automated information systems using IaC.  Install, maintain, patch, and upgrade infrastructure systems as needed, and maintain licensure/compliance of the same.  ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. 
 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
 

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Infrastructure as Code (IaC); (2) Terraform; (3) Service-oriented architecture; (4) Application-security best practices; (5) Docker; (6) Containerization; (7) CI/CD pipelines; (8) Bash and Ruby scripting; (9) Linux based environments; and (10) Helm. 

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. 
 

Salary: $143,300.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $143,300 to $236,500.For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $143,300 to $236,500.For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $143,300 to $236,500.For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $143,300 to $236,500.

For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $143,300 to $236,500.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $143,300 to $236,500.For Hawaii-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $143,300 to $236,500.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $143,300 to $236,500.For Minnesota based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $143,300 to $236,500.
