Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.
Entarian is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team as part of the Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) system and software engineering support project which will support the United States Navy.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Lead or independently execute complex computer engineering work spanning system design, software, networks, integration, and sustainment for MFOM.
- Translate requirements and architectural decisions into implementable designs; review technical approaches, interfaces, code/configuration, and test results.
- Diagnose complex incidents and performance problems, identify root causes, and guide corrective actions that preserve availability, security, and data integrity.
- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams; coordinate with architecture, software, systems, database, infrastructure, and quality personnel across releases.
- Contribute to technical assessments, change-impact analysis, deployment planning, and engineering documentation.
- Provide senior technical direction for container-related engineering, including integration with platform services, release pipelines, security controls, and MFOM system interfaces.
Annual Salary range: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00
Minimum Qualifications- Active US Top Secret level clearance with SCI eligibility
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with computer science concentration from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program
- DoD 8570/8140 Level II or III and AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications
- Minimum 10 years' experience with a Master's degree or minimum 14 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree in computer design, software development or computer networks
- 1 year of container experience - may be achieved simultaneously
- Senior-level experience designing, integrating, and sustaining secure, scalable, cloud-native or hybrid enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with AWS architecture and operations, infrastructure as code, automation, CI/CD/DevSecOps, database and API integration, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, design review, mentoring, risk assessment, and clear communication with technical and Government stakeholders.
- Experience with container orchestration, image lifecycle and hardening, deployment automation, and diagnosing distributed containerized workloads.
